What is Daily Fix Euljiro?
Daily Fix Euljiro is a handmade burger restaurant on Namdaemun-ro 9-gil in Jung-gu, Seoul. I'd wanted to try it every time I walked around the area, and this time I finally made it!
I heard the chefs came from New York Michelin 3-star and 2-star restaurants, so I was even more curious. Also, it took 2nd place at the Korea Burger Championship by a gap of just 0.02 points! So who got 1st? I looked it up and it seems this year it was Goria Burger. Gotta go there too…

Daily Fix Euljiro atmosphere and seats for solo diners
The place has a very, very American vibe, which suits handmade burgers. There are also a few tables where you can look outside while eating alone, so it seemed good for solo meals too.
There's a beer tap area on one side, and I suddenly craved a beer, but I had too much to do so I couldn't drink, sob. Such a shame. The beer selection is surprisingly wide and it would be really good with the food… anyway, I ended up ordering a Coke. Coke Zero! By the way, they told me Coke refills are available.

You order at Daily Fix Euljiro with the kiosk at each table. I liked that every menu item has a description.
We ordered the truffle mushroom burger, the bacon cheese burger (Kang Min-kyung's pick!), the pastrami sandwich and a Coke Zero. We also got coleslaw through the review event.
How does the Daily Fix truffle mushroom burger taste?
First up is Daily Fix's new menu item, the truffle mushroom burger. Truffle sauce is drizzled in a straight line down the middle and there are mushrooms underneath too, and I'll just say it was insanely, ridiculously delicious. Burger and mushrooms, perfectly united!
That sauce was seriously amazing. If you like truffle, order it, no question. I personally love Burger King's Truffle Mushroom Whopper, and this is the ×100 upgraded version! The truffle aroma is the real deal.
The harmony of mushroom, truffle aroma and meat patty… and the bun at Daily Fix is so good that it felt like anything in any combination would taste great. Properly buttery and fluffy. Awesome.
I was also recommended the burger with grilled pineapple and I want to try that too. Ugh, when can I go again. Honestly, it was the best handmade burger place I've ever eaten at in my life.
Is the pastrami sandwich on focaccia too salty?
Second is Daily Fix's pastrami sandwich. Pastrami can be a bit salty and smoky, so opinions may split, but Daily Fix's pastrami wasn't that salty and was good. It wasn't dry either.
By the way, pastrami is basically smoked meat, but I looked it up properly: it's a deli meat made by curing beef brisket in salt and spices, then smoking it and aging it at low temperature.
Personally I thought pastrami sandwiches usually use bread like rye, so focaccia all of a sudden...? But the meat and focaccia went together surprisingly well. The focaccia was crispy on the outside, so the texture was great too.
It's packed with pastrami, which I loved. Great for taking a big bite.
The sauerkraut and sauce inside cut through the richness when it started to feel heavy. There's a fair amount of sauce, so it wasn't dry either. And if it still feels rich, the coleslaw is great. It's refreshing and goes down easily. Everyone, definitely do the review event and get the corn salad or coleslaw. Nom nom.
The bacon cheese burger, Daily Fix's signature
Next is Kang Min-kyung's pick, Daily Fix's bacon cheese burger. I also know it's a pick of Tzuyang. It feels almost like Daily Fix's signature menu item.
Personally I don't trust celebrity picks, because people who watch their weight say things are delicious… hmm. Anyway, this one was delicious.
It's the classic handmade burger, the insanely tasty version. It has raw onion inside, crunchy and surprisingly sharp, so it was clean and easy to eat.
Cheese, meat patty, onion and bacon went together so well. The menu says the bacon is handmade, and the bacon aroma was lovely too. It didn't stand out too much and matched the burger well. Honestly, it feels like a number-one handmade burger place.

By my ranking, Daily Fix's number one is the bacon cheese burger and number two is the truffle mushroom burger. It was so good that I took photos mid-meal. Gotta go eat again next time…
