Yongridan-gil tteokbokki restaurant with butter garlic fries, Yongsan

Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is an instant tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cake) restaurant on Yongridan-gil in Yongsan, Seoul, with a reputation dating back to its street-cart days in front of the old Yongsan Station. On a weekday evening, this visit covered two servings of medium-spice instant tteokbokki with extra ramen noodles, the new butter garlic fries at 7,000 won, and self-made fried rice to finish. Hyeonseonine's instant tteokbokki already comes with plenty of chewy jjolmyeon noodles, so it is better to see the portion before adding more noodles.
