Jjamppong Jijon Yeoksam Branch is a Chinese restaurant specializing in jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), on the 2nd floor of the Umilga building on Teheran-ro 10-gil, a 5-minute walk from Yeoksam Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Eating alone, the writer ordered the basic Jijon-level jjamppong, menbosha (fried shrimp toast) and a Zero Cider; the Jijon jjamppong was pleasantly spicy without being overwhelming, and the menbosha was packed with shrimp. With roomy table spacing and a well-stocked self-bar, Jjamppong Jijon Yeoksam Branch is an easy pick for a solo lunch near Yeoksam Station.
