Wystab Diet Gwanghwamun is a poke and salad restaurant on B1 at 19 Jongno. If you're looking for a tasty, filling poke salad place in Gwanghwamun, I'd recommend Wystab!
I liked that there was a wide range of choices — chicken, salmon, beef and other main toppings, plus oats, vegetables and noodles. It works great as a diet meal, but with its high protein content it's also a solid meal for people who work out. I'd recommend it for solo dining or an office lunch in Gwanghwamun!

What's on the menu, and the nutrition figures on every box
Wystab mainly sells protein boxes categorized by main topping — CHICKEN, SMOKED DUCK, BEEF, SALMON, MALA and more. You could also swap the salad for noodles or oat rice!

I also liked that each menu item shows carbs, protein, fat and calories. Really handy if you're dieting or tracking your meals while working out!

One more tip! Wystab also has prepay rewards by amount, so if you plan to visit often, take note — pay ₩300,000 upfront and you get a whopping ₩30,000 bonus :)

How does the 9,900-won chicken oat protein box taste?
Chicken Oat Protein Box | ₩9,900. Moist chicken plus nutty, chewy oats and vegetables — a menu that nails both flavor and fullness!
First off, the chicken was already sliced into bite-sized pieces, so no cutting needed — easy to eat. The chicken had a soft, moist texture, just right, and the seasoning on the outside added plenty of savory flavor.

The oat rice had an appealing nutty, crunchy texture. Eating the chicken and oats together was great — the soft chicken contrasted nicely with the popping bite of the grains!

On top of that, lettuce and other vegetables, chickpeas, paprika, black olives and crispy toppings were all packed generously into one box. The mealy, nutty taste of the chickpeas, the freshness of the paprika, and the salty savor of the olives came together for a really delicious meal. This place deserves to be called a Gwanghwamun diet-meal favorite!

Rather than eating the chicken alone, the best combo was scooping up oats, vegetables and chickpeas together in one bite. It didn't feel like a diet meal — it felt like a satisfying, hearty meal, so there was no sense of deprivation! If you're looking for a poke spot in Gwanghwamun or a salad restaurant near Jongak, I really recommend this one.

Two friends, one chicken oat protein box each
My friend who came along ordered the exact same menu, and we both agreed it was the heartiest poke place we'd tried around Jongak and Gwanghwamun :-) Instead of a dry, bland diet meal, we got to enjoy moist chicken, nutty oats, and a generous variety of vegetables and toppings — very satisfying! I'd recommend Wystab to anyone watching their diet.

Eating alone at Wystab Diet Gwanghwamun: seats and kiosk ordering
The restaurant seats about 12 people, making it a good space for a quick solo meal or an office lunch in Gwanghwamun. Overall it had a clean, casual vibe, and ordering was convenient with the kiosk at the entrance.
The tables were also spaced out comfortably, which made it great for anyone looking for a solo-dining spot near Jongak. Maybe because so many menu items are high in protein, I noticed plenty of men eating solo here too!

Taste, portion, and price were all satisfying at Wystab :-) It's an easy, low-pressure spot for office workers to visit during lunch, and a good recommendation for solo dining or lunch in Gwanghwamun.
