Bongcheon Station restaurant, cockle bibimbap dinner: Sangdo Neulbori

Sangdo Neulbori Bongcheon Station Branch is a braised pollock (kodari) restaurant at 379 Bongcheon-ro in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, a two-minute walk from Exit 5 of Bongcheon Station. On a weekday evening at 7:30 pm, two of us ordered the small siraegi (dried radish greens) braised pollock with two fish for 31,000 won, cockle bibimbap for 11,000 won and two bottles of soju, for 42,000 won in total. With free side dishes, a complimentary steamed egg and a self-serve nurungji rice water bar, Sangdo Neulbori is a genuine neighborhood favorite.
