There are all sorts of tasty restaurants around Nowon Station, but Pasta Han Kki is pretty famous as a Nowon Western restaurant! And this Nowon branch is the main branch, so it must be even better, right?!

Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch has a set for one at ₩14,900, a value couple set at ₩25,500, and the Gamseong-gadeuk couple set with skirt steak at ₩42,500. Outside the shop you can preview photos of how the pasta, pilaf, risotto and other dishes actually look.

I came alone this day, but the couple sets have such a good lineup and are really cheap (the steak set is only ₩42,500!), so next time I definitely have to come with someone!!! Of course the solo set looked great too!!!!

Lots of solo diners seemed to be eating at the window-side tables. There are separate tables for two or more people as well.

At Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch I ordered the bacon shrimp Toowoomba risotto (₩9,900) and a green salad (₩7,500). Ordering was honestly... that day I wanted noodles, rice and steak all at once and couldn't pick a winner^^! hahahaha After a long debate I went with the 🥓🦐 bacon shrimp Toowoomba risotto and, for my health, a 🥗 green salad!!!

The table came with basic cutlery already set! For water, pickles, jalapeños and so on, you help yourself at the self-serve bar.

Zero cola ordered too!

Ooh, they also bring one piece of freshly baked, piping hot, fragrant garlic bread as a freebie…! The whole menu is this cheap and they still give free garlic bread?! The owner is basically a saint…

How big is the green salad at Pasta Han Kki?

The green salad (₩7,500) at Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch is a side dish, but the portion was huge. It's packed with sun-dried tomatoes and black olives.

The green salad has arrived! Wow, the portion is insane, hahaha. I ordered it as a side so I expected a tiny plate, but I never thought they'd give this much. It had sun-dried tomatoes inside, and plenty of my beloved black olives, so I was very satisfied 🖤

What does the bacon shrimp Toowoomba risotto taste like?

The bacon shrimp Toowoomba risotto (₩9,900) was marked as a best-seller at Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch. It's a Toowoomba (creamy, spicy cream sauce) risotto with bacon and shrimp, with the richness toned down a little.

It was labeled a best-seller, so after some deliberation I ordered this bacon shrimp Toowoomba risotto!!! Bacon and shrimp together, in a Toowoomba risotto with the heaviness slightly dialed back…!!!! This is a risotto that simply can't be bad!!!

With risotto, how well the rice grains are cooked matters, right? The doneness was exactly how I like it, and they use big, chunky shrimp. The garlic flakes sprinkled on top add a crunchy texture that goes even better with the creamy risotto!!!

I mean 💦 it's this tasty, and the prices are so low overall that I kept wondering, is this really okay~? So I ate the whole thing a bit suspiciously (?) hahahaha hahahahahahaha

Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch has a nice atmosphere for couples, tasty food, and even great value, so it ticks all three boxes of a good restaurant: a Nowon pasta place! Totally satisfied, end of review!
