Beef rice bowl and cold bukkake udon set for two: Kosi Seongsu Branch

Kosi Seongsu Branch is a Japanese tonkatsu and udon restaurant near Exit 6 of Ttukseom Station in Seongdong, Seoul. On a lingering hot September day, the writer ordered gyudon (beef rice bowl) for 10,500 won and toriten bukkake udon for 11,000 won with a 5,000 won tonkatsu add-on, plus a sweet potato cheese croquette picked as a receipt-review side. Chewy Shinshu noodles, clean tsuyu dipping sauce, and staff who kindly moved a two-person party to a four-top table made this a memorable meal.
