Hi everyone~ Today I went to Dixie's, a brand-new Jeju burger place! I parked at the public lot right in front. Spoiler: the menu says you get some kind of benefit if you park there (we were too shy to actually claim it, haha!).

You order by tagging your phone on the NFC tag at the table. The menu names can be a bit unfamiliar, but photos and detailed descriptions are attached, so it was easy to choose.

The real problem was that I wanted to eat everything, so picking was genuinely hard. I wanted it all~

How does the braised pork bowl taste?

4. The food at Dixie's

The Braised Pork is a bowl packed with the flavor of pork seasoned Southern-style, aged, and slow-braised until tender! It's apparently the best-seller?! So let's order it and see.

Herb ranch and barbecue sauce are the base sauces. The meat is super tender, like pulled pork, and pairs really well with the sauce, rice, and especially the vegetables — it tastes like somewhere right between the American South and the Mexican border?? Haha, that kind of thing lol.

Cajun shrimp bowl: the best dish of the day

The Cajun Shrimp features blackened shrimp coated in seasoning and charred, paired with fresh toppings. For me this was the best dish of the day. Highly recommend!!!

Remoulade and Southern greens are the base sauces! The shrimp really has that smoky char flavor, grilled right to the edge of burnt. It goes great with the sauce and it's not a common menu item.

Signature Nashville mac and chicken burger

The Nashville Mac and Chicken Burger is Dixie's signature burger, with a Nashville hot chicken patty and thick, gooey mac and cheese stuffed inside.

Spicy plus rich is never a bad combo. Sorry, arteries. Spice level is adjustable too. It's pretty intense and a little rich, haha! The bun is also toasted nicely on the outside, so you can tell they cared about even the bread.

Piling on the coleslaw cuts the richness. But when eating here at Dixie's, I'd definitely recommend ordering a Coke or beer alongside. You'll probably need it as you go lol.
