Where is Brivit Hongdae Yeonnam?

Brivit Hongdae Yeonnam is a Hongdae pasta restaurant about 30 seconds from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station. That's how close it is. If you're craving good-value Western food, I really recommend it.

I went around Hongdae and Yeonnam-dong, and all the young people are gathered here! The weather was nice, so it was great for walking outside, and if you feel like shopping these days, come to Hongdae and check out all the different brands. Browsing the cute little goods is fun too.

My score is 100 out of 100 right away, a 100-point Hongdae pasta restaurant. The menu is varied and the prices are reasonable! The interior and plating are pretty too, so it's perfect for a wedding invitation meetup with the girls, haha. Your friends will compliment your choice.

What's the atmosphere at Brivit like?

Brivit Hongdae Yeonnam is on the 2nd floor of the Mega Coffee building. Just head up to the 2nd floor. There's also a little goods shop across from Brivit, so the whole building is clean and feels very safe. I checked out the characters there too ^.^

Inside Brivit it's super pleasant and clean. Everything's new! No dust! Nothing sticky!

The two of us stayed almost until closing, lol. So I took these photos when the restaurant had emptied out. You know how it is when two women get together, right? We talked a ton, and that's how comfortable the atmosphere was.

Brivit menu and the self bar

The Brivit menu has steak, gnocchi, pasta, risotto, salmon pasta, salad, fries and even soup. It's easy to order a bit of everything and share.

The Brivit self bar has water, pickles and even a charger, so if your phone battery is dying, definitely use it!!!!! These days, when a place has self-service charging, you can charge, use your phone, and charge again whenever, which is so convenient~ It's especially good for people who take lots of photos.

Beet lemonade from a review event

I got the beet lemonade through a Naver review event! Ordered separately, it's a ₩6,900 ade. It's pretty and tasty, and when they sprinkle hibiscus tea over it, the aroma adds an extra sweet-sour kick. Definitely sign up for the review event!!!

It's a lemonade that changes color to pink. It's lovely to look at! It's also strongly carbonated, and the hibiscus and lemon scents go together really well, so I'd definitely recommend it. There's a grapefruit ade too.

Spicy vongole oil pasta for ₩18,900: how many clams?

Brivit's spicy vongole oil pasta is ₩18,900.

Topped with plenty of fresh clams (dongjuk, a type of small clam), a real vongole! It's been a while since I had a pasta with so many clams. I usually like oil pastas, and with plenty of garlic and peperoncino, a spicy aroma rises up slightly and cuts the oiliness just right.

See the sauce between the clams? You can feel how thick it is. Because of that, the noodles soak up the sauce well, and even just slurping the noodles on their own was so good.

Brivit signature steak for ₩37,900: how is the cheese waterfall?

Brivit's signature steak is ₩37,900. It's sous vide flat iron steak, grilled nicely and sliced prettily, so you can just spear it with a fork.

I hate cutting steak, but at Brivit, a Hongdae pasta restaurant, you don't need a knife at all. This is what a cheese waterfall!!!! is!!!

They just pour it over the steak, and wow, can you see how much cheese there is? Tucking it in right before your eyes!! Just looking at it, steak with loads of cheese!! It's so good.

My friend had been saying since lunch that she wanted steak, and yes, this signature is why we came. I think I'll keep remembering Brivit's steak. Mushrooms, broccoli, cherry tomatoes and corn kernels come grilled alongside, making the steak even yummier. And there's brioche bread too!!

The cheese is as thick as the steak, rich and nutty, and the meat is tender~ A really delicious steak. The portion is big too, so definitely order it for a date or a wedding invitation meetup. It's that good a place.

Why I recommend Brivit as a Hongdae pasta restaurant

I've been to lots of Western restaurants around Hongdae and Yeonnam-dong. Brivit's flavor is honestly the best. It's right when you come out of Hongik Univ. Station! The service is good! And every dish was delicious. If you're looking for a Hongdae pasta restaurant, how about steak and vongole pasta at Brivit?
