First look at T Coffee, a quiet café near Seongsu Station

Seongsu has great vibes and tons of good restaurants, but it's always so crowded it drains my energy — anyone else feel that way? I found a spot to read quietly in Seongsu! It's T Coffee, and even the name is simple enough that it doesn't stand out — a quiet, low-key kind of place.

If you're looking for this building, the café is hidden and you won't see it. Walk into the white building that looks like an office and take the elevator.

You go in through the pizza place — it's connected to it. Pizza slices!

T Coffee's gallery-like atmosphere

It's a space as pretty as a gallery. I loved that it's walkable from Seongsu Station too! There's actually a gallery in this building.

A basement floor that doesn't feel cramped

Furniture and lighting inside T Coffee

This was a café where I fell in love with the mood the space gives off. I spent a good while just admiring the furniture and lighting. You know how, when a café's space just clicks with you, you get more work done too? 🙏

A good solo work seat at T Coffee

I'm usually not a fan of basement spaces, but T Coffee has floor-to-ceiling windows and landscaping, so it didn't feel stuffy at all.

Nature mixed with wood accents — full of the aesthetic I've been into lately. That open, airy feeling that doesn't feel like a basement at all is the best thing about this Seongsu café 👀

Menu and desserts at T Coffee

Here's the menu board.

T Coffee's menu board

T Coffee does a great balance of both non-coffee and coffee drinks. I ordered a mint latte made from a cold-brewed mint tea base, and an iced chocolate latte.

Two cups: mint latte and iced chocolate latte

The tableware is pretty too, right? The café lighting photographs well, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the interior.

They also had simple desserts on offer. Sometimes a big dessert feels like too much, but these were a good bite-sized size to pair with coffee — recommended.

Cute café goods

Clear sticker with T Coffee's logo at the counter

I brought home a sticker they had at the counter too. It's a clear sticker — I stuck it on my card wallet and on a plain credit card, and it turned out really cute. It was T Coffee's logo.

How do the mint latte and choco latte taste?

T Coffee's stainless-steel-mood coffee menu board

T Coffee's menu board has such a sleek feel. I've been obsessed with a stainless-steel mood lately, and even the menu board is this cute~~ You can tell they're serious about coffee from the variety of beans. Next time I'll go for a black coffee 🤍

The ordered mint latte and choco latte

And here they are — the mint latte and choco latte! ₩7,000 and ₩7,300 respectively.

Iced chocolate latte glass with chocolate settled at the bottom

Make sure to stir up the chocolate that settles at the bottom. It wasn't too sweet, which I liked — more of a bittersweet latte. The cup is small but they fill it right to the brim, so be careful when stirring so it doesn't overflow!

Mint latte made from a cold-brewed mint tea base

If you're into mint chocolate, try the mint latte (it has a sweet syrup base). It has a unique flavor. It's actually a bit sweeter than the choco latte — seems like there's mint syrup in it.

Solo table with bright lighting

Great seats for solo café study

This is the spot I loved for spending time alone. The lighting above the table was bright enough to double as a reading lamp. If you're looking for a quiet café in Seongsu, this is my top pick. 📚📚📚 Seongsu can get so busy and overwhelming, but this humble, pretty, modern café gave me a real sense of calm.

A corner of the café with interior inspiration

I picked up some interior inspiration and had a really good time at this café. I wonder if the owner is someone who loves quiet spaces too? To think a space like this exists right by the station, just a step away from Seongsu's lively pop-up streets — it's a real hidden gem of Seongsu-dong!!! 😁
