It was a really good Sinchon BBQ place for dates, of course, but also for company dinners or get-togethers with friends!

With the menu board at the entrance and the tray display out front, it's hard not to walk in....... Prices are kind, the menu is big, the meat is tasty. Why wouldn't you go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many side dishes come with the Jjaengbanjip8292 tray set?

The tray set at Jjaengbanjip8292 Sinchon comes with 9 side dishes on a single tray along with the meat. Once we sat down, the exact! same! tray plate I'd seen outside showed up. 9 side dishes with the meat.. wow.. isn't this the ultimate 9-dish spread (9cheop bansang, a traditional full set meal)?

None of the side dishes felt like an afterthought; they were prepared to go well with the meat, which made the meal even more satisfying. It's not a place where only the meat is good. The balance of the whole spread is great!

How does the meat aged 5–7 days taste?

The biggest strength of Jjaengbanjip8292 is that it uses meat carefully aged for 5 to 7 days. They also say a special enzyme adds flavor, and the savory depth of the meat really comes through. The meat looked high quality even before grilling, so I was excited, and with the first bite I understood why this place is popular🥹

For anyone curious about the other dishes, I took photos of the menu too, but the tray set is definitely the right answer!

Jjaengbanjip8292 Sinchon prices: is it good value?

At Jjaengbanjip8292 Sinchon you get 600g of pork in 4 cuts for ₩49,000, so the value is really good. BBQ prices these days can feel heavy, but I was happy to enjoy quality aged meat at a reasonable price! Where else would you get 600g of 4 different pork cuts for ₩49,000~

The interior is quite spacious and open, so it never feels stuffy. It's nice for a quiet meal as a couple, and also perfect for a group gathering. The seats are spaced comfortably, so it was easy to chat.

How big is the ₩5,000 doenjang jjigae?

I ordered doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) and rice to eat with the meat right away, and the size was wow. For ₩5,000 we got a stew that was more than 3 servings.

Of the 4 cuts, pork belly was the best

Value is great, but in the end a BBQ place has to have tasty meat, and the meat at Jjaengbanjip8292 is seriously!! really!!! good.

Wrapped in lettuce with the 9 side dishes, it was all delicious too

With 4 different cuts, we kept switching between them, so we never got tired and enjoyed it to the very end.

But if I had to pick just one cut as the b-e-s-t, it's definitely pork. bel. ly.

The pork belly at Jjaengbanjip8292 is insane ㅠㅠㅠ I've had pork belly at many BBQ places in Sinchon, but for thickness and aging this perfect, nowhere beats Jjaengbanjip8292, I think.

And dipped in meljeot (salted fermented anchovy sauce), it's sooo good.

In the end it was so tasty that we scraped up every side dish and every bit of meat, and the two of us cleared 3 servings. Feast complete~ ~ ~

Service and facilities at Jjaengbanjip8292 Sinchon

What impressed me most personally at Jjaengbanjip8292 Sinchon was the service! Extra side dishes aren't self-service; the staff attentively bring them, so we never had to get up from our seats. That let us focus more on the meal and our conversation, and the whole experience felt much more relaxed.

I heard the owner couple used to handle protocol at a top luxury hotel in Korea, and maybe that's why the service was so kind and classy. Thanks to the attention to small details, we had a really pleasant meal.

The restrooms inside are separate for men and women, which is convenient, so a company dinner at Jjaengbanjip would go over well with everyone, right? haha With tasty meat, a comfortable atmosphere and good service, if you're looking for a place for a Sinchon date, company dinner or group gathering, give Jjaengbanjip8292 a visit❤️
