Craving a burger near Sinchon Station: Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch
Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch is on the B1 floor of Yonsei Cancer Hospital, near Exit 2 of Sinchon Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. After finishing my errands that day, hunger hit hard. I wanted something easy but filling, and a burger came to mind. Bas Burger happened to be right nearby, so I headed straight over.

The branch is near the Yonsei University intersection, in the basement level of Yonsei Cancer Hospital.
Do you have to go through the hospital? No, just go down from the main road
Inside Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch.

The outdoor stairs on the main road in front of Yonsei Cancer Hospital lead down to B1 and connect straight to the restaurant floor. Since it's on the hospital's B1, I wondered if I had to go in through the hospital, but going down the outdoor stairs from the main road connects right to the B1 restaurant area, so it was easy to find. And Bas Burger is close to that entrance, so I spotted it quickly.

Atmosphere and seating at Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch
The lighting has a nice burger-and-beer feel, and there are plenty of tables. I saw families, foreign visitors and groups of friends. Tables are generous.

There are kiosks both outside and inside the building: 1 outside, 2 inside. Tables range from seats for two to larger group tables.

It's a pleasant, casual place for a burger. And even though it's on B1, it doesn't feel like a basement. It connects to the outdoors, so natural light seems to come in well. Compared with a typical restaurant floor, the spacing between shops is wide, and it's a handy spot to drop into while passing by.

And of course, the thin, crispy sliced potatoes Bas Burger is known for were there too, with mayonnaise and ketchup. Crunchy, salty, delicious Bas Burger fries, haha.
What does the Bas Burger double bacon cheeseburger set taste like?

The Bas Burger double bacon cheeseburger has low-sodium bacon, and if you order the set, fries and a drink come with it. It's a filling meal. The portion of fries was generous too.

The double bacon cheeseburger has 2 slices of cheddar, so the cheese flavor is rich, and 2 beef patties too, haha. The bacon was grilled crisp, and the juiciness of the patties and the salty cheddar went together well.

Generous fillings, but a size that's easy to bite
With this many ingredients, it can't not be good, and I fell for the burger. Every bite was tasty. The bacon and beef patties made it hearty. Despite the generous amount, it's wide rather than tall, a size that's easy to bite into. You can take bites comfortably without feeling overwhelmed.

Extra side: mozzarella cheese bar with a big cheese pull
The Bas Burger mozzarella cheese bar is a side with whole mozzarella inside. I ordered it as an extra side. I like cheese, so I sometimes add it, and sure enough the whole mozzarella inside stretches out in long, long strands, giving a real cheese-bar feeling :] I enjoy it because I love cheese, but also because the mozzarella is crispy outside and chewy (?) inside, which makes it even better.

Crispy outside, tender inside: overall verdict on Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch
Even the fries at Bas Burger were well fried, crispy outside and soft inside. Fries ❤️ clap clap 👏 Everything came out nicely crisp, and I was happy with the texture. Both the burger and the cheese bar were packed with fillings, so the flavor was rich. Worth coming to Bas Burger for this.
It's close to Sinchon Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and a good pick when you want a juicy, ingredient-packed burger, something simple to eat, or a meal after a hospital visit: Bas Burger, a solid Sinchon Station burger spot.
