Dog-friendly Hongdae makeup salon, bride and groom snaps: Today Makeup

My boyfriend and I were planning wedding snaps at Noeul Park, so I searched for makeup in Hongdae and ended up at Today Makeup (오늘메이크업). I do daily makeup, but this was my first full-on wedding shoot makeup, so I was half excited, half nervous.

We drove there for the shoot, and there was more parking space than I expected, so parking during the makeup was easy. Availability can depend on the time you visit, though, so if you're driving, I'd check when you book. (If it's full, you may have to park in a nearby paid lot.)

Inside, the spaces are separated, so we didn't cross paths much with other customers, and the staff were kind in guiding us, so even on a first visit I could get ready comfortably.

The wedding makeup at Today Makeup began with a sheet mask to hydrate the skin. Before starting, they asked what mood and style I wanted. I showed them a photo of the dress I'd wear for the shoot and said I wanted a princess-like, dewy feel.
