Window tables and counter seats for solo drinks

There are window tables, tables farther inside, and counter seats where you can enjoy a drink alone. The space is small, so I recommend making a reservation before visiting. The individual tableware and placemats are set so prettily too 👍🏻

Wood-toned interior at Ui Sadang Branch

With its antique accessories and wood-toned interior, it feels as if you have stepped into a European home. The atmosphere is so good that I saw people there for solo drinks, blind dates, wedding-invitation gatherings, and dates ☺️ Since it has an open kitchen, you can watch the cooking process from the counter seats.

Ui Sadang Branch menu

A varied menu, from Tomeiro to drinking snacks

Ui Sadang Branch's signature is Tomeiro 🍅. There is a wide selection, including the signature mushroom cream pasta, O Maebul Mang gambas, vongole doenjang alcohol-steamed clams, mozzarella tomato risotto, Mule Ppajin Gogi (boiled pork), spicy fish-cake soup, salted-octopus capellini, whole tofu kimchi, gochujang-seasoned fried rice cakes, caprese, and more.

Cooking in the open kitchen

I loved being able to watch the food become delicious in real time, complete with a fire show—like zoning out while watching flames(?) Hehe 🫠 Their hands move so quickly, and they pay such close attention to hygiene that I could eat with peace of mind.

Mushroom cream pasta and Mule Ppajin Gogi

I ordered the mushroom cream pasta (₩23,000) and Mule Ppajin Gogi (₩24,000). The tempting pasta and boiled pork arrived with beautiful plating. Take in these gorgeous mushroom cream pasta and boiled-pork visuals with me 🫶🏻

Mushroom cream pasta plating

Rich cream sauce and baguette

This mushroom cream pasta uses a recipe the chef was allowed to use by the chef who taught them to cook. Every one of Ui Sadang Branch's menu descriptions was so fun that I read them all, hehe ☺️ The baguette perched on top like bunny ears is adorable, and even the bowl is pretty enough to make me want one.

The rich cream sauce and perfectly cooked pasta come together to fill your mouth with a clean, soft richness—so delicious 🫶🏻 The baguette, soaked nicely with pasta sauce, is really delicious too. Now I understand why there is an extra-baguette option 👍🏻

Mule Ppajin Gogi boiled-pork plating

Mule Ppajin Gogi served with kimchi

Mule Ppajin Gogi (boiled pork) arrives fanned out over napa cabbage kimchi and green-onion kimchi, and the plating is absolutely beautiful 🤍 I think the sauce on the lower left was vegetable-based, while the one on the right seemed to be a fusion doenjang sauce.

Moist Mule Ppajin Gogi boiled pork

It is so moist that you can feel its tenderness from the moment you pick it up with chopsticks. Its clean, mild flavor spreads through your mouth with a springy yet meltingly soft texture, without any gaminess 🫠 It goes so well with the sides too—completely delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you are looking in Sadang for an atmospheric spot for a blind date, solo drinks, or a Korean-Western date-night meal near Sadang Station, I wholeheartedly recommend the lovely dining bar Ui Sadang Branch 👍🏻
