Winter work bag: Meda Bag suede hobo shoulder bag

I usually hate heavy bags, so I carried a canvas tote almost every day. While looking for a bag that would go with winter outerwear and still be easy to carry, I started using this Meda Bag suede hobo bag.

Why did I choose it as a winter daily bag?

My canvas tote was roomy and comfortable, but once the weather got cold, it felt a little separate from my winter outerwear. I found myself drawn to a suede bag that felt seasonal yet easy enough to carry every day.

Among the suede bags I looked at, some were more expensive than I expected or felt overly designed. Meda Bag had a simple design and a less burdensome price, so I thought it would work well as a daily bag.

When I ordered, it arrived the very next day, and the packaging was neat too.

The price was in the high 10,000 won range at the time of writing. A matching mini pouch was built into the bag, and it also came with a keyring, so the set felt nicely put together.

The keyring that came with it was a teddy bear wearing goggles. I thought a keyring would suit the simple shoulder bag, and I liked it enough to put it on right away.

Does the camel color and suede texture suit winter clothes?

It had that soft, suede texture when I touched it. I really liked the smooth feel.

I debated between brown, camel, beige, and black before choosing camel. It felt warm and cozy even in cold weather, and it went well with work outfits or slightly more polished looks. It looked natural with a long padded coat, and the suede texture made even casual outfits look more put together.

Is it roomy enough for a tumbler and pouch together?

It had plenty of height and width, so there was still room after I put in everything I normally carry: a tumbler, pouch, wallet, and more. With my things inside, the bag did not lose its shape and kept its V-shaped silhouette, which looked neat.

Are the closure and lining easy to use?

The magnetic snap closure was easy to open and close. It held the opening together, so I worried less about things spilling out. The lining was black polyester, which made me feel less concerned about stains or pilling. The overall finishing was neat too.

It is easy to carry and adds a warm touch to winter clothes, so I have been using it often as my daily bag lately. Being able to pack plenty while still carrying it to work suits my routine well.
