A new Beurre Beurre on Konkuk Rodeo Street

It's been so unbearably hot lately that my eyes just get pulled toward anything that looks cool, right? There was a huge sign on a door near Konkuk saying "powerful air conditioning" and I immediately wanted to walk in haha.

So anyway, while I was wandering around panting from the heat, I noticed a new Beurre Beurre ice cream shop had opened on Konkuk Rodeo Street near where I was walking, so I stopped by for a sugar refill ٩( ˙0˙ )۶

It's only been open for a month, so Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch is super clean. Looking at the banner set up at the entrance, there were an enormous number of flavors. I was already wondering what to get before even walking in, but with the sticky-note flavor recommendations and the owner's helpful explanations, I was able to choose without much trouble haha.

Popular flavors and what to order at Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch

What I ordered at Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch was the triple cup for ₩11,400 and an iced Americano for ₩1,900. After quickly checking the menu board and cup sizes, I finished ordering easily at the kiosk on one side of the store.

According to the owner's flavor explanations, Walnut Caramel is the men's No.1 favorite, and Eomchindal is the women's No.1 favorite! And Coubert Coubert is apparently July's overall No.1 flavor — if it holds that kind of honor, I had to try it, right? There were so many flavors that I deliberated for a while before firmly deciding on the triple cup. A famous dessert spot around Konkuk known for its quality — my expectations were rising from the reputation alone~~

Beurre Beurre ice cream is different from regular gelato or sorbet in that it's made with a generous amount of French butter that's 82% milk fat. That's apparently why it's known for its distinct richness.

Is there seating to eat in the store?

Inside Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch, there are small, cute seats where you can eat in the store. It was perfect for sitting close together in the mini space and cooling off from the sweat with something sweet!

How were Coubert Coubert, Nilla Nilla Caramel Dance, and Eomchindal?

Today's star, the triple cup. From the very first bite, I let out a "wow, this is really buttery!" — the milky flavor felt heavy and rich right away.

Coubert Coubert and Nilla Nilla Caramel Dance were the ultimate nutty-sweet flavors, while Eomchindal was refreshingly tangy, so the combination of all three was a perfect match. I guess there was good reason it was July's overall No.1 — personally, Coubert Coubert was most to my taste! A certified Konkuk dessert spot~

Paired with a ₩1,900 Americano

After eating something sweet, it's only natural to follow up with a bitter Americano ^ // ^) The Americano was only ₩1,900, so it's excellent value. Taking a bite of ice cream and a sip of the Americano cleaned up my palate nicely, so I scraped the cup clean before leaving haha. A successful Konkuk dessert spot, Beurre Beurre!

I completely fell for the chewy, rich charm of this butter ice cream — enough to blow away the summer heat.
