Cheongdam hair salon gray root dye + grow-out bob trim: Beorn Hair
In short
Beorn Hair Cheongdam is a hair salon on Seolleung-ro in Cheongdam, Gangnam, Seoul, near Gangnam-gu Office Station. The writer had her gray roots dyed at Beorn Hair Cheongdam and, since she is growing out her bob, kept as much length as possible and had only the ends trimmed; the color came out a little brighter than she wanted, apparently because the salon followed her previous record. A useful visit report for anyone who wants gray root care and a tidy grow-out bob in a single appointment.

Today I want to share my root dye visit to tidy up my gray hair. I don't know why gray hair grows so fast as you get older. It feels like I only just did an all-over dye, and suddenly there are grays at the roots bugging me. So this time I went to Beorn Hair Cheongdam!

I actually visited Beorn Hair's Apgujeong Rodeo branch a few months ago, so it was nice to visit the Cheongdam branch too. This time I had my gray roots dyed, and since I'm trying to grow my bob out a bit longer, I also had the ends lightly tidied.

Growing out a bob: why only the ends were trimmed
At Beorn Hair Cheongdam, we decided to keep my bob length as much as possible, lightly trim just the ends, and sort out the annoying grays with a root dye. A clean entrance right from the start, this Cheongdam hair salon Beorn Hair!!
When you decide to grow your hair out, you have to hold back the urge to cut it. But if you do nothing at all, the ends start to look messy. I wanted to move from a bob to something a little longer, so I decided to keep the length and only tidy it lightly. I figured sorting out the grays on top of that would make everything look much neater.

Even just fixing the roots makes gray hair look so much neater. Under bright lights especially, newly grown grays stand out more, so regular upkeep really matters.

How did the gray root dye color turn out?
For the root dye at Beorn Hair Cheongdam, I think they checked my previous record and did the same formula, but the color came out a little bright. It was bright at the Apgujeong Rodeo branch too, sigh T_T
The main goal this time was the gray root dye! Once grays start showing, no matter how nicely you dress, it nags at you, right? I wanted to dye the roots so my hair and overall look felt clean.
Rather than doing an all-over dye every time, focusing on the newly grown roots can also help cut down on unnecessary dyeing of existing hair. Of course, the method can vary depending on the color you want and your current hair color, so talk with your designer. Root dye is surprisingly tricky to color-match, after all.
Still, having my roots dyed and my ends tidied together at Beorn Hair in Cheongdam made it easy to keep a neat style.

Growing out a bob: a small hair goal
My small hair goal these days is to grow my bob a bit longer. A bob is neat and easy to manage, but sometimes I miss longer, calmer, more feminine hair. So this time I didn't cut boldly; I kept the length and only lightly tidied what was needed.
While growing out your hair, I think it's important to trim just enough so the ends don't look too heavy or messy. I'm planning to record the process as my hair gets longer. I'm curious what style I'll turn into next!

The shampoo area was clean and comfortable~~

Consultation tips before your Beorn Hair visit
Even within the same brand, the experience can differ by branch and designer, so it helps to sort out the style and treatment you want beforehand. I remembered visiting Beorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo a few months ago, which is why I decided to blog about this Cheongdam visit too.
If you need a root dye for gray hair or want to neaten up a bob, take this as a reference. And if you're growing your hair out like me, be sure to tell them during the consultation that you want to keep as much length as possible!

Waiting while the dye sets at Beorn Hair
At Beorn Hair Cheongdam, they prepared tea and charged my phone while I waited for the dye to set, which I loved.
