Benetto exterior

Since it's right next to City Hall, it's easy to get to by bus and easy to park too.

A red brick building with a yellow Benetto sign! The weather was perfect for brunch, and even the street looked pretty~~
Benetto is a space made to offer a light but filling brunch with sandwiches and coffee. The coffee served alongside is made with specialty beans we blend and roast ourselves, so it pairs well with the sandwiches, and the sandwiches are freshly grilled, because we wanted to make even a short, warm break more satisfying. It's nice for a quick bite in the morning, and a comfortable place to sit back and chat at lunch or in the afternoon. We hope it becomes a place where anyone can recharge for a moment in a busy day.
What is Benetto like inside, and how busy is it on weekday lunchtime?
Benetto had a lovely atmosphere with a cozy, wood-toned interior. There are tables for 2, tables for 4 and a bar table, so I think it would be fine to come alone too.
The big windows kept it from feeling stuffy. When I visited around 11:30 on a weekday there was only one other group, but once lunchtime came it was full. Probably because it's right next to City Hall, a lot of office workers come in!

A calm mood and a cozy interior make Benetto a great café for brunch. Water, napkins, wet wipes and disposable gloves are set out separately too.
Benetto menu and lunchtime set price

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Benetto has a lunchtime set: one grilled sandwich + americano for ₩10,000, a whole ₩3,000 cheaper! There are two kinds of grilled sandwiches, and the drinks are varied too, including coffee, tea, non-coffee drinks and bingsu (shaved ice).

Both sandwiches look so good, right? I ordered both!

There are also egg tarts, Basque cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies, so it's nice to chat over dessert after the sandwiches.
Drinks and sandwiches I ordered at Benetto

It's been a while since I had a proper brunch, so lots of photos :-D
Benetto's grilled sandwiches come in 2 pieces each, so they're easy to share. The iced americano had a slight acidity, and the Summer Apple, a blended herbal tea with apple preserve (cheong), was fragrant and gently sweet. It's the drink I'd recommend.

The disposable wet wipes and gloves are individually wrapped, which is hygienic and easy to use, and it showed the owner's thoughtfulness :)
How does the jambon basil grilled sandwich taste?
The jambon basil grilled sandwich has house-made jambon (French-style ham), arugula, basil pesto and Gouda cheese.

The jambon basil at Benetto, a sandwich spot in Ulsan, is served on warm focaccia that's crisp outside and chewy inside, and the combination of house-made jambon, arugula, basil pesto, Gouda and sauce was totally my taste. If you like jambon, give it a try!

The tomato marinade(?) was tangy too, just right for one bite each.
How does the Mexican beef grilled sandwich taste?
The Mexican beef grilled sandwich has tender brisket (chadol yangji), Mexican chili, jalapeños and cheddar cheese.

Benetto's Mexican beef is packed full of brisket, so it's an even more filling sandwich. The spicy chili sauce, jalapeños and cheddar gave it a spicy yet rich, melty flavor that I loved.

Benetto's egg tart for dessert
The egg tart I ordered for dessert had a pastry crust filled with soft, wobbly egg filling, nutty and sweet, and I enjoyed it a lot.

Benetto in Nam-gu, Ulsan: how was it for a weekday brunch?
Benetto is near Ulsan City Hall, so both parking and the bus are convenient, and the cozy mood made it great for brunch. I especially liked that I could have a grilled sandwich and an americano for ₩10,000!
Both grilled sandwiches had tasty bread and plenty of filling, so they were very satisfying. The drinks are varied, and besides sandwiches there are Basque cheesecake and egg tarts, so I think it's also good for just enjoying a café after a meal ☕️
