For parking, use the building's underground car park. I heard they support 1 hour of parking on weekdays from 8am to 6pm, and free parking at other times.

It had been a while since I last came to Sangam-dong. I used to come here quite often, but this time it had been ages! It's a city with big tall buildings and wide roads, but unlike Gangnam it doesn't feel crammed, so you can really breathe. Digital Media City, I missed you~

I had to take medicine, so I needed a proper meal, and these days... Chipotle is so hot right now, right? 😭 It's not Chipotle, but if you squint a little, you get something similar: New York-style halal food, which is how I found Zilhal Bros. It's on the ground floor of Savoy City! For parking, just use the building's underground car park.

This is the casual interior of the restaurant. The kitchen is wide open, and in that clean, hygienic space I noticed the owner carefully stir-frying lamb. It's right next to the kiosk, so there was no way not to look, haha.

There's more seating than you'd expect, with a whole 10 tables for two. Since you can join them, even groups of four or more can eat comfortably at Zilhal Bros.

What two of us ordered and what it cost
- Chicken over rice ₩11,800
- Lamb over rice ₩12,900
- Chicken kebab ₩6,400
- Onion rings ₩5,500

The over rice comes in two kinds, chicken and lamb, so we ordered both. I wanted a burrito too, but I worried it would be too much, so after some agonizing I went with the chicken kebab and onion rings. It's a huge amount for two people, so pace yourselves!

What do the chicken and lamb over rice taste like?
The over rice at Zilhal Bros (chicken ₩11,800 / lamb ₩12,900) sits on a base of loose, fluffy indica rice, so it's tasty. Whether it's chicken or lamb, they pile the main ingredient on generously. Then tomato, lettuce and jalapeños add freshness: New York-style halal bibimbap (mixed rice bowl)! I wondered if this amount would be enough, but the bowl is quite deep and it fills you up so much, haha.

The onion rings here are insanely good too..

How is the chicken kebab different from over rice?
The Zilhal Bros chicken kebab (₩6,400) is packed with ingredients too, so it's quite filling. Unlike the over rice, it has shredded cabbage in it, so the taste is a bit different! Plenty of sauce~ nice. And the Digital Media City branch of Zilhal Bros serves breakfast, you know? Perfect for a morning meal~

How to wrap over rice in flatbread
Zilhal Bros' signature over rice comes with flatbread. I left the flatbread out of my earlier description, but wrapping that bread around the rice is seriously delicious TT I'm collecting signatures to demand a bread add-on option.

What does the Zilhal Bros white sauce taste like?
They drizzle on plenty of Zilhal Bros' own white sauce, which has a yogurt-like tang and a mayonnaise-like richness... an addictive sauce.
It's white and tangy and goes so well with the rice, which amazes me! It tastes exotic, yet it suits my palate perfectly, which is just so cool. Yummy.

Lamb or chicken: which over rice should you order?
You mix the over rice together before eating. There's a lot of sauce, so I recommend pushing some aside and adding it to your own taste ^_^ This is the lamb over rice, and unlike the lamb I usually eat, it's grilled until very crisp. Even so, it has a nice amount of flavor and a tender texture, so it goes well with rice.
And this is the chicken! Lamb has that distinctive lamb taste, but the chicken has nothing that stands out, so I think nobody would dislike it. The chicken is also grilled crisp, but why is it chewy and crunchy at the same time? Delicious.
I wrapped loads in the flatbread.. then it wasn't enough, so I tore off a bit of burrito tortilla and wrapped with that too. That was pretty great as well.. I didn't expect it to be this good, and now I've only added to the list of flavors I know, which hurts a little as a lifelong dieter.

Kebab cross-section! Quite a lot of protein in there. A great menu item for a simple meal. And the price is cheap~
