I visited so many tourist spots and restaurants over the break that I wasn't sure where to start, but I decided to begin with a Sillim Station restaurant. It's famous as a date and blind date spot thanks to its pretty interior, and dogs are welcome too: Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch (퍼그피자하우스 신림점).

How does the pet zone at Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch work?

Pug Pizza House Sillim runs a separate pet zone for dogs on the 3rd floor. I found that unusual and kind of fascinating. If you have a dog, most restaurants ban pets, so sadly it's hard to eat out together, but with its own pet zone, Pug Pizza House is a good choice for dining out with your dog.

Since the pet zone is on the 3rd floor, anyone who doesn't like dogs or doesn't want fur around can eat on the 1st or 2nd floor. The spaces are separate, so I don't think you need to worry much. Just note that the pet zone has its own operating hours, from 2 pm to 5 pm, so plan your visit accordingly.

The shrimp pizza at Pug Pizza House is a big pizza topped with shrimp and corn, so it's easy to eat lightly, haha.

Best of all, you also get fries, corn cheese and a salad, so you don't get sick of eating only pizza.

The pizza itself is springy and delicious, and the smell from the moment it arrives stimulates all five senses.

The corn cheese in particular is rich and tasty, like the corn you get at a raw fish restaurant.

Two kinds of fries and a salad

The fries also come in two kinds: creamy fries topped with green onion, and fries drizzled with a mustard-like sauce. If you order like this on a blind date, wouldn't your date fall for how thoughtfully you catered to different tastes?

We even ordered a salad, which guys rarely order when they go out on their own, so you get a good variety, and it almost feels like you're on a diet while eating pizza.

Pug Pizza House Sillim is a great spot because the portions are big and you get to enjoy a bit of everything. At the self-serve bar, you can easily grab any extra plates and sauces you need.
