I was hunting for a café in Yeonnam-dong where I could study or work, and I found Noknok (녹녹, Knock Knock): roomy, tons of outlets, and I was so happy with it! I almost regret only discovering it now, so if you're looking for a good work café in Yeonnam-dong, pay attention!
Where is Noknok, and can you park?
Noknok is right in the middle of Yeonnam-dong, a two-floor café in a big building you reach by walking the Gyeongui Line Forest Trail from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station. There's parking next to the café!! I didn't come by car, but a café with parking in Yeonnam-dong is really precious, haha. I think drivers will love it 𖤐

Noknok is a big café spread over two floors.

It sits in the heart of Yeonnam-dong, so it's easy to get to. Walk the Gyeongui Line Forest Trail from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station and you'll come to the big building!!

How are the first-floor seats for working?
The first floor is mostly big tables and sofa seats, and it's so spacious and comfortable that I thought "perfect for working" the moment I walked in!! The whole place feels open and airy, which I liked ◡̈

The main sofa seating has a unique structure I'd never seen anywhere else, which was fun!

Outlets and Wi-Fi
My favorite thing about Noknok: outlets all around the seating! The Wi-Fi is strong too, so there's no better place to bring a laptop to work or study.

Good to know before you go: kiosk ordering, 2-hour limit, second-floor closing
You can only order at the first-floor kiosk, so if you're heading upstairs, order first and then go up! There's also a 2-hour limit on weekends and public holidays, so keep that in mind 𖤐
It's a big café with a second floor, but I happened to come at 9pm and the second floor had already closed, sob (second floor closes at 9pm).

Noknok drink menu and the ₩1,900 americano
The drink choices are really varied! From the signature cream coconut water to coffee, smoothies, ades and teas, you can pick whatever suits you.

Best of all, a takeout americano is only ₩1,900!! 👍🏻 If a place like this were right by my home, I'd probably visit every day 🥹

Noknok bakery lineup
I hear Noknok is famous as a bakery spot too!

From salt bread (butter roll) to baked sweets and choco baguettes, the bakery lineup is seriously fancy . . ♡

What I ordered at Noknok and the prices
- Crème brûlée cheesecake ₩8,500
- Nox coffee ₩4,400
- Café latte ₩3,900

How does the crème brûlée cheesecake taste?
Noknok's crème brûlée cheesecake is a Basque cheesecake topped with a sugar coating that's caramelized. The sugar crust isn't super thick, but it's fun to crack with a fork, haha. The soft, moist cheesecake with the sweet, light milk cream was so good!!

What does Nox coffee taste like?
Nox coffee is one of Noknok's signature drinks. It tastes like mix coffee (sweet instant coffee) with an extra shot, and has a deep flavor. I'd recommend it if you like sweet coffee!
Would I recommend Noknok as a Yeonnam-dong work café?
It's hard to find a café in Yeonnam-dong this spacious and comfortable that's also good for working, so I'm so glad I found Noknok ◡̈ Good-value drinks, high-quality desserts, and perfect infrastructure for laptop workers! If you want a place in Yeonnam-dong to work on your laptop or enjoy tasty desserts, do visit Noknok ♡
