Baekcheongu Kalguksu Yongin Dongbaek Branch is a Korean restaurant near Dongbaek E-mart in Yongin, Gyeonggi, known for seafood kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and mandu jeongol (dumpling hot pot). A Saturday lunch visit found the place already full, though parking right out front was easy, and seafood kalguksu for two plus half-and-half steamed dumplings came to ₩35,000, starting with a filling bowl of barley rice. The mild clam-seafood broth and generously stuffed kimchi mandu were the highlights — good enough to want to order takeout next time.

Bongu Hwarro is a charcoal grill restaurant between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam, Seoul. The meal was domestic pork belly and flower pork belly with beef short rib cut added at 50% off, doenjang stew with beef brisket and fried rice, and the banchan was unusual for including soy-marinated crab. With roomy spacing between tables, Bongu Hwarro is an easy pick for Gangnam group meals and company dinners.
