Quiet Gireum Station PC café for work, cheese Bulgri lunch: ZERO100
In short
ZERO100 PC Gireum (제로백PC 길음점) is a 24-hour PC café on the basement floor (B1) of a shopping arcade, a 2–3 minute walk from Exit 4 of Gireum Station in Seongbuk, Seoul. The writer usually avoided PC cafés because of cigarette smoke and noise. To handle work that could only be done on a computer, the writer spent 2 hours at ZERO100 PC Gireum and ate lunch there: cheese Bulgri ramyeon (₩7,500), Ppuringkle cheese balls (₩5,000) and Ppuringkle chicken popcorn (₩3,500). The writer was happy with both the facilities and the food, and its quiet, well-mannered atmosphere makes ZERO100 PC Gireum a good PC café for getting work done.

Why someone who avoids PC cafés went to ZERO100 PC Gireum
I had something that could only be done on a computer, so while I was at Gireum Station anyway, I dropped in at ZERO100 PC Gireum (제로백PC 길음점). I don't own a computer and honestly don't miss it. I handle almost everything on my phone or tablet, but this time I really needed a proper computer. I wanted to avoid PC cafés if I could (I'm one of those people who associate them with cigarette smell and noise, so my impression wasn't great), and I agonized over it. In the end I had to go to Gireum Station anyway, so I thought, might as well. I looked for places with good facilities, and I heard that among the PC cafés around Gireum Station, ZERO100 PC Gireum has great facilities and lots of good-value snacks, so I went straight over.

How to get to ZERO100 PC Gireum from Gireum Station Exit 4
ZERO100 is in the basement of a shopping arcade building, a 2–3 minute walk from Gireum Station Exit 4. There's a huge sign at the building entrance

that says ZERO100, and once you're inside, the sign in front of the entrance says B1, so you just head down the stairs.

The PC café is right at the bottom, and just as the reviews said, you can tell from the exterior alone that the facilities are good. So I walked right in without a second thought, hehe.

What are the facilities like inside ZERO100 PC Gireum?
ZERO100 PC Gireum has team rooms near the entrance, kiosks, a tray return, a smoking area and separate men's and women's restrooms. Just inside, there are separate rooms called team rooms, private spaces that groups of friends can use together,

and further in, the kiosks let you pay or sign up as a member, with the tray return next to them. The facilities are good, but it's also known for good-value snacks, so

lots of people were ordering food. There's also a smoking area inside, which is convenient for smokers,

but what I liked most was that the restroom inside is separated for women and men. I was happy about that! I also filmed a video of the inside of ZERO100, so if you're curious to see it in motion rather than photos, I recommend watching the video.

Seats and how long I stayed
I signed up as a member and paid right at my seat, and used it for about 2 hours. I was happy with the facilities and wanted to start right away, so I looked around for a seat, and the chairs looked comfortable and the computers

looked high-spec too, so I sat down at a seat I liked, signed up as a member and paid right there, and used it for about 2 hours.

ZERO100 PC Gireum snack menu and prices
This time I ordered cheese Bulgri (+cheese topping) for ₩7,500, Ppuringkle cheese balls for ₩5,000, 2 Zero Pepsi for ₩4,000 and Ppuringkle chicken popcorn for ₩3,500. Before using it I'd heard it has lots of good-value snacks, so I checked the menu out of curiosity, and just like the reviews said, there's a wide variety and it's cheap!

- Cheese Bulgri (+cheese topping) ₩7,500
- Ppuringkle cheese balls ₩5,000
- 2 Zero Pepsi ₩4,000
- Ppuringkle chicken popcorn ₩3,500

Even ordering a bit of everything, the prices were cheaper than I expected, and it turned into a full lunch. I ordered, got to work, and before I knew it the food arrived

How do the cheese Bulgri, Ppuringkle cheese balls and chicken popcorn taste?
The food looked way better than what you'd get at a Korean snack bar. The Bulgri (spicy instant noodles) with extra cheese was tastier than what I cook at home, the noodles were evenly cooked, and it was slightly spicy.

The Ppuringkle cheese balls had that Ppuringkle seasoning with moist cheese inside, and since they're fried to order, they were piping hot. The Ppuringkle chicken popcorn was tender and crispy with that same Ppuring flavor.

Is ZERO100 PC Gireum a good place to get work done?
Overall, I was happy with ZERO100 PC Gireum, since both the facilities and the food were good. When I visited, everyone was using it quietly and politely, which made it even better. If you're looking for a PC café with good facilities in Seoul, or somewhere with lots of good-value snacks, I recommend ZERO100 PC Gireum.
