Thick squid fritters and combo set at Hyeonseonine, a Yongsan

Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a spicy tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes) restaurant a 5-minute walk from Yongsan Station and Sinyongsan Station in Seoul. Visiting on a Saturday at 5:30pm, the posted wait was 70 minutes but actual entry took just 20, and the Hyeonseoni combo set (₩26,000) delivered tteokbokki, fritters, sundae, mini gimbap and fish cakes all at once. The tteokbokki topped with self-bar fritter crumbs and the thick, meaty squid fritters were the standout combination.
