Gwangalli sashimi spot for a fireworks-night date: Gwanganda Jjji
In short
Gwanganda Jjji Gwangalli Main Branch is a sashimi restaurant on the 6th floor of Sanbada Hoe Town in Gwangalli, Suyeong, Busan, serving dachi (chef's counter-style seafood) courses behind floor-to-ceiling windows facing Gwangan Bridge. The writer and her boyfriend arrived around 5:30pm and ordered the ₩55,000-per-person dachi course for two, eating sashimi, raw shrimp, butter-grilled abalone, flower crab stew and abalone porridge while the view went from bright sea to the Gwangan Bridge night view and the fireworks festival. Gwanganda Jjji suits Busan travelers who want a Gwangan Bridge view and a good-value seafood course together.

Have you ever gone on a trip to Busan and wanted to eat while looking at a gorgeous view? I did, so I searched for a meal with a pretty Gwangalli view and found Gwanganda Jjji (광안다찌).

Gwangan Bridge stretches out beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, and every single dish was delicious too, so I was genuinely moved. Here's my story of Gwanganda Jjji.
Where is Gwanganda Jjji, and what are its hours?
Gwanganda Jjji is on the 6th floor of Sanbada Hoe Town at 17-20 Gwangan Haebyeon-ro 344beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan, South Korea. It is open from 12pm to 10:50pm, with a break time from 2:10pm to 4:30pm.
Last order is at 8:30pm, and it is closed every Tuesday, so check ahead if you're planning a visit.

The moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed by the Gwangan Bridge view spread across the glass. With a view like this, it felt like anything would taste good.

It's on the 6th floor of the Sanbada Hoe Town building, so you just take the elevator up. The second you open the door, the sea and Gwangan Bridge fill your view, and everyone in our group gasped.
How much is the dachi course at Gwanganda Jjji, and how do you order?

The dachi course (set seafood spread) is ₩55,000 per person. My boyfriend and I ordered it for two, so it came to about ₩110,000 in total. You don't pick dishes; when you order for two, the food is set out for you, like an "imokase" (omakase run by the auntie).

Food is laid out as soon as you sit down, and the variety is so wide that it's fun just to look at. Coming from Seoul and eating fresh seafood and sashimi in Busan, I could really feel a freshness different from what I usually eat.

I also liked that you don't have to choose dishes one by one. It's filled in with variety for you, so you can skip the "what should we order?" debate and just sit back and enjoy.
What comes in the Gwanganda Jjji dachi course?

The sashimi comes beautifully arranged, along with raw shrimp, nakji tangtangi (chopped baby octopus), grilled scallops, butter-grilled abalone, raw abalone, sea cucumber and sea squirt (meongge). Really a wide variety.

📍TIP: Won't seafood alone leave you hungry?
You might think seafood alone won't fill you up, but after the sashimi come crab stew, grilled fish, braised fish, shrimp tempura and abalone porridge, in that order, so it's a properly hearty meal.

Every dish was delicious, and I was impressed again and again as the course went on.
The raw shrimp was plump and sweetly rich, and the grilled scallops and butter-grilled abalone had a smoky char that made me go "wow" with every bite. The nakji tangtangi kept its chewy texture, which made it fun to eat.

The sea squirt and sea cucumber were fresh too, so you could really taste the natural flavor of the seafood.
What time should you go to Gwanganda Jjji to see the Gwangan Bridge night view?
To see both the daytime sea and the Gwangan Bridge night view, I recommend arriving between 5pm and 6pm. We came around 5:30pm, and at first the sun hadn't set, so Gwangan Bridge looked bright.
As it gradually got darker, the Gwangan Bridge night view, the sea, and even the fireworks festival that happened to be on all came together, and it was just beautiful to watch.
Getting different scenery at different times from the same seat seemed to be Gwanganda Jjji's biggest charm. If you want to see everything from the bright daytime sea to the night view, arriving between 5pm and 6pm is my recommendation.

Who is Gwanganda Jjji recommended for?
To sum up, Gwanganda Jjji is a Gwangalli restaurant where you can enjoy the Gwangan Bridge window view and a good-value dachi course together.
- ✅ Travelers in Busan looking for an ocean-view restaurant
- ✅ Anyone who wants a good-value seafood course
- ✅ Anyone who wants to enjoy the Gwangan Bridge night view too
The food is great, but the value is so good that I'd love to come back with my family next time. If you're heading to Gwangalli, I highly recommend Gwanganda Jjji. When you travel to Busan, which matters more to you: an ocean-view restaurant or a good-value one?
