Apgujeong nail salon black thin French in 2 hours: Naeil Didi

Hi, this is Kangttangkong! I was scrolling through nail design posts on Instagram and fell completely in love with thin French nails, so I went straight to Naeil Didi, a nail salon famous around Apgujeong Rodeo, to get them done.

Where is Naeil Didi? The 5th-floor suite and 6th-floor salon are one place

It's close to Apgujeong Rodeo Station. The 5th floor Naeil Didi Suite and the 6th floor Naeil Didi are actually the same salon — I booked at Naeil Didi and got assigned to the Suite, so off to the 5th floor I went.

I arrived at the salon. Since I got there earlier than my appointment time, I waited a bit.

The photo on the left is where nails are done, and the one on the right is the pedicure area. It's a white-on-white, sleek interior.

I love this kind of white concept — it feels so clean and pretty haha.

This month's art design is so pretty too, right? Turns out Naeil Didi is well known for wedding nails, so I really liked that even this month's art wasn't over the top. It has a trendy sensibility with delicate detailing.

Cuticle care and nail shaping at Naeil Didi

At Naeil Didi, they started with careful cuticle removal before the treatment. I'd grown my nails out but they were all uneven and torn up ^_ㅠ — she removed the cuticles so carefully, not a single drop of blood~~

My nails are pretty weak, so I asked her to trim them not too long. Before!! After!!

Black thin French nails, brush-drawn and done in two hours

My thin French nails at Naeil Didi were done in two hours. This is the result of those two hours — I was genuinely surprised by how meticulously and carefully this was done, more than at any other nail salon I've been to.

Working an office job, I feel awkward if my nails are too much. This length is clean but sophisticated too, so pretty >_< totally satisfied.

Since it's summer I was originally going to do the French in white instead of black, but I changed my mind to black,, and I love it so much.

The staff member drew a draft of the French line with a brush first before working on it, so it came out so!! clean!! that's exactly what it is.

It looks even prettier in person than in photos — from the side, you can see the nude-toned gel base has such even thickness, and I could tell right away this place has next-level quality (...)

These were my French nails, modest but a little bit sassy — exactly what I wanted.

Is 65,000 won worth it? Final verdict on Naeil Didi

At Naeil Didi, my thin French nails came to ₩65,000 total at non-member pricing — ₩50,000 base gel plus ₩15,000 for the French tips. They said they use a nourishing base and only genuine Swarovski crystals. They really put nail health first, using a nutrient base, overlay, and a top gel with great shine to make your hands look so pretty!

Since they specialize in wedding nails and extensions, they have lots of pretty monthly art options, and their syrup nails and magnetic nails are also top quality. They work so hard and carefully on every single detail, it's almost apologetically thorough.
