Office lunch poke near Seocho Station: Buldak fried tofu, Olla Poke
In short
Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch is a poke restaurant on basement level 1 between Seocho Station and Gyodae Station in Seocho, Seoul. On a weekday lunch break, the writer, an office worker, had the fried tofu poke with Buldak (spicy fire chicken) sauce, while colleagues ordered the garlic shrimp poke, which appears only on the in-store menu. Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch turned a healthy lunch plan into a genuinely tasty, easy meal before the afternoon's work.

Today I'm introducing another favorite lunch spot for people who work in Seocho: Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch!

To all the office workers who agonize over what to eat every single lunchtime... me too. I always want something delicious, but I can't eat spicy, heavy stuff every time, right? So today I came for poke to soothe my conscience. Healthy food still has to taste good, so this is a very important visit.
Where is Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch and what are its hours?
Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch is at 54 Banpo-daero 28-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the basement level (B1), between Seocho Station and Gyodae Station. Hours are 10:30–21:00, with a break from 14:30 to 16:30. Last order is 14:00 for lunch and 20:30 for dinner. It's closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so check before you go.
It's near Gyodae Station, but it's also a walkable distance from Seocho Station, so it's a great lunch spot for people working nearby! The entrance has a white sign with red letters reading Hola Poke. Very clean-looking exterior. The shop is in the basement, so once you spot the entrance, you just head down.

Tip: use the less steep entrance on the right
There are two entrances to Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch. The left one I showed first is super steep! If you face the entrance and walk a bit to the right...

There's an entrance here too, and you can go in this way. The stairs are less steep and nice and gentle~

Is Olla Poke a good solo salad lunch near Seocho and Gyodae Stations?
The inside of Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch is clean, and there are seats that suit solo diners, so I recommend it for people eating alone too (there were tons of solo eaters). It really does earn the title of salad lunch spot near Seocho Station and Gyodae Station. (It's between Seocho and Gyodae, so I'm claiming both.)
When I pick lunch, taste matters, but so does whether I'll get too sleepy afterward. Because I have to work in the afternoon too... sad but true...
Olla Poke menu and custom poke bowls
Olla Poke is a poke restaurant where you can combine all kinds of ingredients, and it's very good. There are various options like salmon, shrimp and steak, you can adjust the ratio of rice to salad, and you can pick a sauce to your taste.

If salad alone would leave you hungry and rice alone feels a bit heavy? Just get both. Is today a diet day? Just get the salad. (But that has never happened, haha)

Olla Poke even has a custom poke, so you can have poke... yes, poke..... for under ₩10,000!

How does the fried tofu poke with Buldak sauce taste?

The poke has finally arrived! The first and second photos are the garlic shrimp poke my colleagues ordered. (It wasn't on the Naver menu, but you can find it in the shop.) From the third photo on, it's my fried tofu poke, or "twi-du-po" as I call it. Yes. I ordered the fried tofu poke, and?
First, the fried tofu poke looks seriously packed. Tofu, chickpeas, corn, vegetables, red onion and other poke ingredients come standard, and on top is my beloved tofu. They also give you plenty of sauce on the side. And this red sauce is... Buldak sauce.

If you assumed salad has to be bland, here's proof there are combos like this! (Honestly, Buldak sauce on a salad is acceptable, isn't it? haha wow)

Mix it up like this and eat lots of ingredients in one bite, nom nom;;;; The crunch of the vegetables, the crumbly chickpeas, and then the tofu on top. I'm tearing up.
The reason I love poke is that you get lots of different ingredients in one bite. I think that's the charm of poke. Above all, unlike a salad with only vegetables, there's brown rice and a wide mix of ingredients, which is why poke wins. It was a great choice for a one-meal lunch.
Why I recommend Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch for an office lunch
- You get lots of different ingredients in one bowl!
- Easy to get vegetables and protein together!
- A solid lunch option for office workers near Seocho Station and Gyodae Station!
I recommend it to anyone tired of heavy lunches who also doesn't want bland rabbit food. I came to eat healthy, but I was reminded once again that eating something delicious is what matters most. If you're looking for a good salad or poke place near Seocho Station or Gyodae Station, give Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch a visit! Hehe.
