Konkuk Univ. dessert café with whole mango soufflé: Andamiro Pancake

After a tasty dinner near Konkuk Univ. Station with a close younger friend, we wondered what to have for dessert, and ended up at Andamiro Pancake, a café known for its desserts^^

Where is Andamiro Pancake?

Andamiro Pancake is 279 m from Exit 1 of Konkuk Univ. Station. Turn into the alley across from Common Ground, and it's on the 2nd floor of the building with Photoism Colored and Matdakkko, just so you know : )

It also closes 1 hour earlier than on weekdays on Saturdays and Sundays, so keep that in mind too : )

Inside Andamiro Pancake

Andamiro Pancake is cozy and spacious inside, which made it a great dessert café near Konkuk Univ.!!

The atmosphere is so snug that it works as a date course around Konkuk Univ. Station too.

This table is fairly private and looks great for chatting with friends, haha

What we ordered and how long the wait is

You can order easily at a kiosk! This is a café near Konkuk Univ. famous for soufflé, so how could we not order the soufflé pancake!

What we ordered:

• Whole mango soufflé (with added ice cream)
• 2 iced Americanos

Andamiro Pancake makes the soufflé pancake the moment you order, so it takes about 20–30 minutes : ) In return, you get a really warm, fluffy soufflé cake^^

I heard "Andamiro" means "overflowing, to the brim!" The sign inviting you to enjoy Andamiro's pancakes and drinks to the brim felt warm^^ I had coffee and a delicious soufflé cake at this café and spent a really lovely time^^

With the receipt review event you can get vanilla, chocolate or green tea ice cream, as long as you write "Konkuk café" (건대카페) in your review^^

How did the whole mango soufflé pancake taste?

Our whole mango soufflé came out^^ I was so curious how a freshly made soufflé pancake would taste : )

Look at all that whole mango!! I'm a total mango maniac (망친자, "a person crazy about mango"), so I was extremely excited^^

I really wanted to try this, haha. Such a wobbly, cute soufflé pancake : )

The fresh mango is placed on as it is, so it was fresh, sweet and delicious : )

Drizzling on the mango syrup

You drizzle the mango syrup they provide over the whole mango soufflé and enjoy^^ Once I poured the syrup on, it looked even more appetizing^^

Let's try the soufflé cake at Andamiro Pancake, the Konkuk Univ. café famous for soufflé pancakes : )

I cut into it and it cuts so softly ^^

Wow... it was really fluffy and warm and so delicious, T_T The soft cream melts into the soufflé pancake and makes it even softer.

The fresh mango was nicely sweet too and went so well with the soufflé pancake!!!

Is the added ice cream worth it?

It's a fantastic match with the vanilla ice cream we added to the whole mango soufflé, so do add the ice cream too^^

Is Andamiro Pancake worth a return visit?

Andamiro Pancake is cozy, spacious and has such a nice mood that I'd recommend it as a date course near Konkuk Univ.!! Personally, the soufflé pancake made right on the spot was so delicious, and coffee and dessert paired so well that this café near Konkuk Univ. Station is one I want to come back to^^
