Ewha hair salon 1-hour deep scaling + lightly layered cut: Eco Revy

It was about time to tidy up my hair, and I also wanted to try some scalp care, so I visited Eco Revy Hair (에코레비헤어) near Ewha. This time I got ✔️ deep scaling and a women's design cut! I've had plenty of cuts and perms at salons, but head spas weren't really my thing. This one was so relaxing that I was really happy with it. I got a neat cut and scalp care in one go, so here's my review :)

Where is Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch, and what about parking?

Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch is on the 2nd floor, on the right side once you leave Ewha Womans Univ. Station Exit 3 and turn into the alley next to the JAJU store. It's right in front of the station, so I came by subway too :)

Eco Revy Hair specializes in cuts and perms as well as head spa and scalp care, and I loved that the designers handle everything from start to finish :) Since a head spa is something you receive while resting, it was also nice that I didn't have to worry about people around me!

How does the deep scaling head spa go?

The head spa was what I was looking forward to most! The deep scaling I had includes aromatherapy, scalp scaling, head spa, a scalp machine, a scalp mask and a scalp essence.

I'd set aside about 1 hour in total. They treat scalp flakes, sebum and buildup with an aroma massage and emulsion, then finish with the head spa and nourishing scalp care!

It was way more relaxing than I expected.. 🤍 Maybe because of the aromatherapy, I loved the feeling of just resting while being cared for. I came to a hair salon for a haircut and felt like I'd dropped by a spa for a bit!! 👀 Since I could get a cut and some healing while I was there, the trip felt worth my time... haha

The layered cut with little layering and thinning: how did it turn out?

I had the head spa and a layered cut at Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch. My designer specializes in men's hair, but they looked after my women's cut very carefully too, and I was satisfied.

Even when you don't cut much length, the overall line changes the whole mood, right? I think the designer's touch matters especially for a layered cut!! I could feel how carefully they worked throughout, so I could trust them. (For reference, I don't go for much layering or thinning..)

I came to Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch to tidy up my hair and ended up getting a proper head spa too, hehe. What stuck with me most was the deep scaling! When I think of scalp care I imagine something a bit functional, but with aromatherapy and head spa together it was really a time to rest :) Going after work is pure bliss + healing,,,

The layered cut from my designer was great too, and they were so thorough that I left very happy even though it was my first visit~ If you're looking for an Ewha hair salon where you can get a cut and scalp care at once, I recommend Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch! I tidied up my hair and got healed by the head spa this time, and I'm satisfied :)
