GRAY LAZY (그레이레이지) is my favorite café in Namak. Hmm... I think I've been about 5 times by now! It's the kind of café that puts me in a good mood every time and makes me want to stay way too long. Let me quickly tell you about this visit.

You've all had this experience, right? Even if you're normally nowhere near books, in a space with a great atmosphere you suddenly read better and can actually focus!! What is the interior of GRAY LAZY like?
The inside of GRAY LAZY is a calm space in monochrome tones with a mid-century touch. You can really feel how much the owner cares about the space; the comfort and atmosphere were just so good.
It's also a space with a spoonful of monochrome mood on top, so with that soft, relaxed vibe, even just zoning out makes my mind calm down and my tangled thoughts empty out little by little! Hehe, it's exactly the interior style I love, so I feel like I always leave with good energy.
You can feel the mid-century vibe too, so the whole space looks sleek and cool!
GRAY LAZY has group seating, and there's also a space where you can enjoy some privacy.
What did I order at GRAY LAZY?
This time I ordered a strawberry Agom latte and an Agom latte at GRAY LAZY! I feel like I try a new drink every time I go. For a while there were lots of items made with ube, but the ube vanished without a trace... It's a seasonal limited menu, so if you haven't tried ube yet, it might be worth a go.
Drinks are 10% off if you take them out. When I think of GRAY LAZY, churros come to mind first! They fry them as soon as you order, so you get piping hot, freshly made churros! Personally, I think these are way tastier than the Ooochu churros at Everland!
The dessert lineup has gotten a lot more varied, I think! They have homemade custard pudding made in the shop every day, chestnut cake (bonnaebam cake), and black sesame bagels.

How do the bear Agom latte and strawberry Agom latte taste?
The Agom latte at GRAY LAZY comes with a little bear on top. Oh, my heart...❣️ He's so cute, how am I supposed to eat this.. The moment it came out, the bear and I made eye contact🤨 He kept begging me with a please-save-me look, so in the end I dunked him in haha.
When I looked closely, the bear's eyes and nose were black sesame haha. The ears are Oreo!! It's a bear with pretty careful details.
The GRAY LAZY strawberry latte was even better with plenty of sweet strawberry pulp🍓 You need to stir it well haha. At first the sweetness hit so hard I scrunched my face, but once it mixed with the rich milk it got much smoother and tasty.
Junhyeong was about to order a vanilla latte, and I talked him out of it and switched him to the Agom latte haha. The ice cream on the latte is vanilla anyway, so I recommended it thinking it would be nice to have it like an affogato☕️🍨
What does the relaunched chestnut cake taste like?
The GRAY LAZY chestnut cake is a dessert they brought back thanks to customer demand, and you never know when it'll be discontinued again! So I thought this was my chance and tried it.
It's a dessert with that deep, hefty chestnut sweetness and nuttiness🌰🌰 The chestnut flavor isn't super strong like a Barbamba (chestnut ice bar); it's subtle at a moderate level, so it wasn't overwhelming. A faint pistachio flavor comes through from somewhere too, so it's not a predictable taste!!
After all that sweetness my mouth felt a bit dry, so I refreshed with a decaf coffee, like a clean transfusion!
