What is bd Burger Seongsu?

bd Burger Seongsu is a handmade burger restaurant near Seongsu Station. Everything is cooked as soon as you order, so you get a proper burger, and there is a wait at peak times.

Even with the wait, I keep coming back to bd Burger Seongsu! It is about a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3. It is on the 2nd floor of a building, and while there is no parking of its own, there are plenty of paid lots nearby.

How to order at bd Burger Seongsu and what's on the menu

Every table has an ordering system, so you can order and pay right from your seat. When your burger is ready, an alert pops up on the screen.

The menu includes the grilled shrimp avocado burger, wasabi shrimp burger, double cheeseburger, Cheongyang mayo bulgogi burger (made with spicy Cheongyang chili) and Buldak shrimp burger (Buldak means fire chicken, a spicy flavor), among others. You can order a burger on its own or as a set. A set comes with a soft drink and your choice of 3 sides (extra charge).

We chose the fried mushrooms and the butter garlic fries. The fried eggplant is really good too, so I recommend it.

bd Burger review event and weekday lunch discount

If you join the receipt review event at bd Burger Seongsu, you get a free corn salad. Definitely join and eat it! If you visit at weekday lunch, the wasabi shrimp burger set is discounted, so you can eat for a great-value price.

The prices are kind, so there's no reason not to eat here. It's perfect for office workers in Seongsu at lunchtime.

Cold soda first! There's a milkshake too, and it's delicious dipped in the fries.

Buldak shrimp burger: how good is the whole-shrimp patty?

What sets bd Burger Seongsu apart is the patty, packed generously with whole shrimp. It's full of plump shrimp meat, so every bite fills your mouth with shrimp flavor.

The wasabi shrimp burger is the signature and I order it every visit, but this day I wanted something spicy, so I finally settled on the Buldak shrimp burger! It's a handmade burger with an appealing spicy Buldak sauce and loads of plump shrimp. I love the bouncy, springy shrimp. It also has vegetables, so it isn't greasy at all. The thick whole-shrimp patty is the highlight!

Cheongyang chili mayo bulgogi burger: is the beef patty good too?

The shrimp patty is the popular pick at bd Burger Seongsu, but there are beef patty burgers too. The sauce on the Cheongyang mayo bulgogi burger is really good.

It has a slightly spicy finish, and the bulgogi (marinated beef) patty is so good. You can feel the juiciness, and it's moist and tender. It has a whole 2 patties, and the raw onion cuts the richness and adds crunch. The bun at bd Burger is good too.

Best side at bd Burger: fried mushrooms

bd Burger Seongsu seems serious about its sides too. The fried mushrooms are really moist. They seem to be fried in a way that keeps the true flavor of the mushroom.

Crispy outside, chewy inside. Were button mushrooms always this good? The sauce that comes with them is tasty too, so I kept dunking them deep.

Who is the double cheeseburger set for?

We ordered the double cheeseburger as a set. I recommend this one for people who like American-style burgers!

Thick yellow cheese is melted all over it, and with 2 patties and onion inside, the burger is a good size.

Butter garlic fries and soft drink refills

The butter garlic fries at bd Burger Seongsu are good too. Crispy outside, soft inside! The fries are salty and nutty, and of course a sauce comes with them.

You can refill your soft drink once (one menu item per person is required).
