Mokushura Table in Heyri Village: a weekday morning with an 8-year-old
Mokushura Table is a Western restaurant in Heyri Village, Paju. My kid was on school break, and I was wondering where we could go together, when Heyri Village popped into my head!

Looking into it, Mokushura Table came up as one of the Heyri restaurants with a gorgeous space and great food — exactly what I was looking for..🤍 So on a weekday morning, off we went to Heyri Village with my 8-year-old elementary schooler haha!

Once I actually went, Mokushura Table turned out to have great food, but the atmosphere of the space was so good that it really won me over :)

The greenhouse-style first-floor hall and the corner table facing the garden
From the moment you walk in, Mokushura Table's pretty garden makes it feel like stepping into some restaurant in Europe haha. The space right past the entrance has high ceilings, so there's no stuffiness — it felt open and airy :)
But I think the real pride of Mokushura Table has to be this space with its glass-greenhouse-like interior 😍 Natural light streams in, and the garden's plants show through the floor-to-ceiling glass, blending inside and outside — a vibe clearly different from a typical restaurant✨

With no dark or stuffy feeling anywhere, it's bright and relaxed overall, so my mood lifted just eating there :) There were so many pretty spots for photos too — perfect not just for food shots but for Instagram pics😘

We took this table :) It was a corner spot with greenery visible on both sides — pure healing 🌿
As soon as they saw my kid, the staff swapped out the glass dishes and cup and brought over kids' tableware👏🏻

What comes in the two-person set menu at Mokushura Table
Heyri restaurant Mokushura Table has separate two-, three-, and four-person set menus, so the price is good and you get to try a variety of dishes — highly recommend! They also have a separate kids' menu for visitors with even younger children, making it a great Heyri restaurant to bring a kid to❣

We ordered the two-person set! It's a salad + pasta + pizza + 2 drinks combo~
- Grilled steak salad
- Margherita pizza
- Pescatore pasta
- Iced americano
- Green grape lime ade
Order complete🖤 The green grape lime ade was for my son, and since I needed a coffee transfusion that morning, I ordered an iced americano — and the coffee here smelled great and tasted amazing???! I was thinking, wow, this coffee's good~ and then remembered this place is also known as a Heyri café, so of course the coffee was great hahaha >//<

Grilled steak salad
First, the grilled steak salad came out in a slightly smaller size, probably because it's the salad included in the set menu! Still, there were two big chunks of steak on top, so the portion felt just right haha.

With grilled steak on top of fresh vegetables, it was a light way to start the meal, and the steak itself had zero off smell — clearly good-quality meat, and so, so delicious 🧡 The salad dressing was also delicious and paired well, the vegetables were fresh, and there was plenty of cheese sprinkled on top — genuinely great!! If you go to Mokushura Table, you absolutely have to try the grilled steak salad, highly recommend⭐

Margherita pizza
And the margherita pizza was way better than I expected — I was genuinely surprised! As a menu that sticks to the basics, the combination of tomato sauce, cheese, and basil worked so well together that I kept reaching for another slice haha. The dough was chewy yet crispy, and the tomato sauce itself tasted somehow really refined! And since it's not spicy, it's a great menu to share with a kid😊
Pescatore pasta with the spice left out
And the pescatore pasta is a tomato-sauce-based pasta with clams and shrimp~ It's normally a bit spicy, but since I was eating it with my kid, I asked them to leave out the spice, and they said that was possible, so I ordered it that way!

Even so, it was so good that my son inhaled it😆 Since it's a seafood pasta, the sauce itself had a deep flavor and umami, which must be why it tasted so good even to a kid haha.

Why Mokushura Table is easy with a child
Getting to eat delicious food with my son in such a pretty place, like a little date, felt so nice haha. When you eat out with a kid, the food matters, but how comfortably the kid can spend the time matters just as much, right??! In that sense, I felt like Mokushura Table is a Heyri restaurant that thinks very carefully about families🤍

High ceilings, a gorgeous chandelier, and sunlight and greenery outside — such a pretty place..💚
The third-floor rooftop and the second-floor kids' area
Mokushura Table also has second- and third-floor spaces, and they're genuinely large! There's an elevator to the upper floors, so it's really convenient to ride up~
This is the rooftop on the third floor! On a nice spring or fall day, eating or having coffee up on the rooftop would be amazing haha.

The third floor also had plenty of pretty seats! But it felt a bit quieter than the first or second floor haha.

We went down to the second floor! There were also plenty of seats with a good view by the window on the second floor~ And there's a space where kids can comfortably read books or draw! While the adults enjoy their meal and chat, the kids can read and play here — sounds so good haha.

Through a door off to the side, there's also an outdoor terrace! The second floor has a great view too, doesn't it look pretty haha😍
And there's also a space made specifically for babies and toddlers to rest and play comfortably! With a table right in front, adults can sit and eat while watching the kids play behind them 👍
The library across the garden: worth it for coffee alone
From the first floor, you can cross the garden to reach Mokushura Table's library~ This library space had such a distinct vibe 🤎 It felt totally different from the restaurant space — calm and lovely, with books and the space blending together so well haha.

After seeing the library, I personally thought that even if you're not here for a meal, this place would be great to visit just for coffee at the café haha.

An atmosphere that suits quietly reading with a cup of coffee or just spending time leisurely :)

It felt just like a library in Europe — so pretty, and a Heyri café where photos would come out beautifully haha.
Heyri restaurant Mokushura Table turned out to be a complex space that's great for eating in a beautiful setting, playing with your kid, and spending time over coffee, all in one visit :) Definitely worth making a special trip out for — no regrets at all!💟
