When can you visit Pickles without a wait?

I went to Pickles, a Western-style restaurant on Jeonpo Café Street in Seomyeon, around 3pm and got a table right away with no wait. Personally, Pickles is the first place that comes to mind when I think of a great pizza spot in Jeonpo, but there's always a wait, so I deliberately visited around 3pm.

Pickles location and hours

Pickles is located at 62-14 Seojeon-ro 46beon-gil, 1st floor, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea, and is open 11:00–21:00. It's about 160m from Exit 7 of Jeonpo Station. It's on Jeonpo Café Street, so eating at Pickles and then heading to a café afterward makes the perfect course haha.

There's even a bench at the entrance for people waiting. Since there was no one waiting, I walked in feeling relieved haha.

Pickles interior and seating

Pickles has a charming, thoroughly American-feeling interior — woody furniture, cream-colored sofas, soft lighting, great overall vibe, which makes it a good spot for group gatherings or a date in Seomyeon. The entrance area is good for sitting together with a group or for dates, but I went further inside.

The wall side is all comfy sofa seating, so it's nice for eating comfortably. The inner area had a lot of people even at 3pm.

Among the remaining seats, I went for a cozy corner good for a quiet meal haha. I really like it here. Every time I come to Pickles I end up at a snug corner seat 😆

As soon as I sat down, the staff set the table right away.

Can you self-refill the pickles at Pickles?

Yes — Pickles has water, pickles, and hot sauce set up in one corner of the store, so you can just help yourself if you run out. In the initial setup, their signature pickle comes out along with salt and hot sauce.

I think the pickles might actually be the main event at Pickles. They're so crunchy and sweet-and-sour, absolutely delicious 😆

Pickles' menu includes pizza, pasta, sides, and drinks, but above all I'd recommend the great-value set menus. Both the half-and-half pizza + pasta set and the pasta + 2 sides + 2 drinks set cost 39,000 won.

What I ordered that day

I really liked that everything came out at once at Pickles. I'm the type who doesn't like the flow being interrupted haha.

The zero-sugar cola came in a cup of ice with a lemon floating in it. Pickles' coffee is also tasty — I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a nutty coffee flavor.

For the half-and-half pizza, I went with jambon-beurre and taco. I'd already tried jambon-beurre with potato before, so this time I ordered taco to try something different.

For the pasta, I was craving a cream pasta so I went with Pickles' bacon cream pasta.

How does the jambon-beurre and taco half-and-half pizza taste?

Pickles' jambon-beurre pizza is a signature with an unbeatable combination of arugula, jambon, and butter, and the taco pizza has serious umami. I tried the pizza first — personally, among the pizza places I really love in Jeonpo, Seomyeon, Pickles is high on the list. It looked seriously appetizing from the start.

The jambon-beurre has jambon on top of arugula that looks like flowers, like a flower field spread across the dough.

The jambon-beurre pizza really is Pickles' signature, and it's genuinely delicious. The combination of arugula, jambon, and butter is unbeatable.

For the taco pizza, I like tacos but I ordered it without high expectations, mostly out of curiosity.

The taco toppings are the real deal. The umami was insane, seriously!! 🤩

If you love tacos, you have to try Pickles' taco pizza. Even the dough on Pickles' pizzas is delicious, so you can eat all the way down happily.

Is Pickles' bacon cream pasta greasy?

Pickles' bacon cream pasta is loaded with bacon and sliced garlic, and despite the smooth cream sauce, it wasn't greasy at all. Even just from the thick cream sauce, the visual alone looked amazing.

The flavor is so good you could eat it endlessly.

The noodles were nice and springy too, exactly to my taste. When the sauce clings to the noodles and you take a big bite, it's pure bliss ✨✨

You absolutely have to self-refill the pickles haha.

Why I recommend Pickles as a Jeonpo pizza restaurant in Seomyeon

I think anyone who's tried Pickles, the Western restaurant on Jeonpo Café Street in Seomyeon, probably keeps coming back. There's also Lee Jae-mo Pizza nearby, but there's clearly a reason people are willing to wait for Pickles, right?

It's a genuinely local Busan pizza favorite with no greasiness and top-tier umami — when the wait at Lee Jae-mo is too long, people head to nearby Pickles instead and naturally become regulars. The pasta is delicious too, and you absolutely have to refill the pickles while you're at it. I confidently recommend Pickles as a top pizza spot in Jeonpo, Seomyeon.
