Songdo sushi restaurant: weekend parking at Homeplus, Sushi Doku
In short
Sushi Doku The Songdo is a sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall near Tekeunopakeu Station in Songdo, Yeonsu, Incheon. On a third visit, the writer again ordered the 25,900-won-per-person premium sushi set (10 pieces of sushi, truffle egg custard, salad, karaage, shrimp tempura and udon) and found weekend parking easier at the Hyundai Outlet or Homeplus lots. After three visits, the taste and the set at Sushi Doku The Songdo were just as consistent as ever.

When I have a meal plan near Tekeunopakeu Station, the first place that comes to mind these days is Sushi Doku The Songdo on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall. It's my go-to, the place I keep coming back to! This is already my third visit. Whenever I want sushi around Songdo in Incheon, I end up here. So this time I'll cover parking, reservations and the menu all in one post, for anyone looking for a sushi place near Tekeunopakeu Station or a good restaurant in the Songhyeon area -!
Sushi Doku The Songdo: location and opening hours
Sushi Doku The Songdo is at 157 Songdogukje-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Tekeunopakeu Station. It's open daily 11:00–21:00, with break time from 14:30 to 17:00.
- Parking: the building's parking lot is available
- Naver reservations, takeout and delivery available
- Baby chairs and waiting chairs provided

Come out of Exit 2 at Tekeunopakeu Station and walk about 5 minutes to reach Onesta Mall. Sushi Doku is on the 2nd floor, so go in through the 1st-floor entrance and take the elevator or escalator up. It's close to the station, so it's an easy meeting spot if you're coming by subway, and on rainy days you barely have to walk outside.
Onesta Mall parking: where to park on weekends
You can use the Onesta Mall building's parking lot, so driving is fine. On weekends, though, Onesta Mall itself gets crowded and just getting into the lot can take quite a while. In that case, the lots at the Songdo Hyundai Outlet or Homeplus, both connected to Onesta Mall, are much easier.
Break time, waiting and reservations: do you need one?
Sushi Doku The Songdo has a break time from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. If you're going for a late lunch, double-check the time. There tends to be a wait on weekends and in the evening, so I recommend booking through Naver before you go. Weekday lunch felt relatively relaxed.

Atmosphere inside: good for a family gathering?
Inside Sushi Doku The Songdo, the wood tones and calm lighting keep it quiet, so it's a nice place to talk.

Baby chairs are available and the tables are fairly well spaced, so it works fine for family gatherings too. Dates, anniversaries, meals with your parents: it's an easy pick for any occasion near Tekeunopakeu Station.
Recommended: the premium sushi set for ₩25,900, what's in it?

The dish I recommend most at Sushi Doku The Songdo is the premium sushi set (명품스시 정식) at ₩25,900 per person. This time again, no hesitation: premium sushi set! Here's what comes on the tray.
- 10 pieces of sushi
- Truffle egg custard (steamed egg)
- Salad
- Chicken karaage (Japanese fried chicken)
- Shrimp tempura
- Udon (thick wheat noodles)
Sushi alone leaves you feeling empty pretty fast, but with the tempura and udon too, it's generous even for an adult. Eating the same set three times also means this lineup is the safest and most satisfying choice :)
The 10 pieces of sushi and the order to eat them
The sushi in the premium set is ten kinds: flounder, sea bream, squid, salmon, sweet shrimp, red shrimp, red snow crab meat, akami (lean tuna), eel and ankimo (monkfish liver). The staff explain that it's best to go from white fish to red fish, and eating in that order takes you from light flavors to rich ones, so you don't get tired of it by the end.

You brush the soy sauce on lightly. My favorite is the ankimo (monkfish liver) gunkan (sushi wrapped in seaweed)! That rich, nutty flavor is a real treat.

Naver receipt review event: free otoro sushi
The Naver receipt review event at Sushi Doku The Songdo gives you otoro sushi, no less! You get one piece of sushi made from the prized fatty tuna belly per review, so don't miss it -!!!!! The rich, high-quality otoro is the best.

Truffle egg custard, tempura and udon
Even after three visits, the truffle egg custard is still the first thing I reach for. It's soft like pudding, with a subtle truffle aroma that really wakes up your appetite at the start of the meal. The shrimp tempura and karaage came out crispy and were great between pieces of sushi, and finishing with the warm udon broth leaves you full and cozy.
Verdict after three visits to Sushi Doku The Songdo
There are plenty of restaurants around Tekeunopakeu Station and Onesta Mall, but not many you can pick every time without a miss. At Sushi Doku The Songdo, one set in the ₩20,000 range covers sushi, tempura and udon, and the taste and lineup were the same all three times. If you're craving sushi near Tekeunopakeu Station, book first and enjoy :)
