Incheon Terminal Korean restaurant for after-work dinner: Hantiok
In short
Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch (한티옥) is a Korean restaurant in the B1 food court of Lotte Department Store, connected to Incheon Terminal in Michuhol, Incheon. For an early dinner after work, the writer ordered a bossam (boiled pork wraps) set, a hanwoo seolleongtang (Korean beef bone soup) set and a single order of jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork). The rich hanwoo broth, pork with no gamey smell and much larger portions than expected were the surprises. Verdict: Hantiok delivers real quality and generous portions for a food court, and it is worth returning to for a solo dinner or a meal with friends.

After work, I finally visited Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch (한티옥 롯데백화점 인천점), a Korean restaurant already famous for its food, in the food court of Lotte Department Store Incheon, which connects to Incheon Terminal. Here's my honest review :)
What's the atmosphere like at Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch?
Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch is a Korean restaurant inside the B1 food court of Lotte Department Store Incheon. As you'd expect from a well-known Korean spot, the interior is neat and clean.

Recommended at Hantiok: the bossam set and the hanwoo seolleongtang set
The Hantiok menu has single dishes and set meals. These are the two I personally recommend!
- Bossam set (보쌈반상): mini Andong gukbap (hanwoo beef rice soup), bossam (boiled pork wraps), mandu (dumplings), tofu, lettuce wraps
- Hanwoo seolleongtang set (한우설렁탕반상): hanwoo seolleongtang (beef bone soup), stir-fried pork, tofu, mandu (dumplings)

Seating and how to use Hantiok
Hantiok has its own designated seats, and you can also sit in the shared food court hall.

The return window is next to the counter. When you're done eating, just return your tray there!

They say Hantiok cooks with hanwoo (Korean beef) only. (Can't resist hanwoo, right?) And even with hanwoo, the prices felt really generous.

What we ordered for dinner after work
We ordered one bossam set (보쌈정식), one hanwoo seolleongtang set, and a side order of stir-fried pork. We got greedy. The portions turned out bigger than I expected!

The photos show Hantiok's own seating area. I finish work early, so I went early, and some people were already eating. After we sat down, lots of office workers kept coming in to eat alone.

We sat at the far end. The cutlery comes neatly wrapped in paper, too! When the Hantiok buzzer goes off, you go to the counter and pick up your food.

Our food arrived. I was amazed by the quality, and then amazed again by the huge portions 👍🏻 It also seems like a great place to meet friends for a meal in Guwol-dong.

Is Hantiok's stir-fried pork worth ordering on its own?
This is the stir-fried pork (jeyuk-bokkeum) I ordered as a single dish! I wasn't sure the portion would be big, but even the single order was generous! I used to think all jeyuk tasted about the same, but after Hantiok's, I changed my mind ^^ It was clearly different from other places. No smell at all, and even though I was full, I kept eating. Next time I want to order the stir-fried pork on its own.

The bossam and radish salad in the bossam set
Hantiok's bossam has just the right meat-to-fat ratio and was so tender. I remember being amazed the whole time I ate it..! And bossam's partner, the seasoned radish (musaengchae), has to be good too, right? The musaengchae was seriously delicious! They also give you tofu, and it was tasty eaten together with the pork!

Hanwoo Andong gukbap and hanwoo seolleongtang broth
The Andong gukbap (rice soup) that comes with the bossam set has hanwoo in it! The bossam alone would fill you up, but there was also so much meat in the gukbap that I honestly thought my stomach would burst :)
The hanwoo seolleongtang is also packed with hanwoo, and you can see how rich the broth is! It's so milky white. The broth tasted superb! Just looking at it makes me want it again. The hanwoo was very tender too.
Is Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch worth returning to?
Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch is already famous as a Korean restaurant and has branches in many areas. After eating there myself, I understand why it has branches everywhere and why it's so popular. I've never seen a food court restaurant with such high quality. The portions are generous and the taste on top of that, so there's no reason not to come back.
Incheon Terminal and the Lotte Department Store food court are connected, so it's a convenient spot for dinner or lunch as soon as you arrive. If you're looking for a date-night restaurant in Guwol-dong, you could eat at Hantiok and then shop at Lotte Department Store. There have been lots of pop-up stores at Lotte lately, so there's plenty to see!
It's also a place where eating alone after work feels comfortable, so I highly recommend it for solo meals too! I wholeheartedly recommend Hantiok Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch as a Korean restaurant :)
