Kkuudeok Seolleung Main Branch is a Western-style restaurant in an alley just inside Exit 2 of Seolleung Station in Gangnam, Seoul. The 46,800 won Kkuudeok combo set brings a 150g premium chuck flap steak, cheese meat pasta and spicy cream pasta all at once, with the steak grilled on a brazier at the table. Getting steak and two pastas together for around 40,000 won in the middle of Gangnam makes Kkuudeok worth a return visit.

Hangover sundae soup sets at Juan Station, Incheon: Suraok Sundaeguk

Suraok Sundaeguk Juan Station Branch is a sundae soup (Korean blood sausage soup) restaurant in Michuhol, Incheon, a 2-minute walk from Juan Station Exit 6. Nursing a hangover from the night before, the writer ordered both the Suraok Sundae Soup Set at 14,000 won and the Clear Sundae Soup Set at 14,000 won, and rated the sundae, boiled pork and liver that come with the 4,000-won set upgrade the highlight of the meal. Between the hangover-friendly soups and a kids' menu, Suraok Sundaeguk works just as well for a family dinner.
