What if you could swap the drink in your burger set for a beer?! On days when you want to treat yourself even at a solo lunch, I found just the place~

It's Bas Burger Jamwon Branch, famous as a go-to spot near Sinsa Station 😆 Bas Burger gives you chips for free and lets you swap the set drink for craft beer, so I had a solo lunch with a glass of lager 🍺 If you've been looking for somewhere to eat alone near Sinsa Station, stay to the end!! Let's Go~~~🚀
Where is Bas Burger Jamwon Branch?
Bas Burger Jamwon Branch is a handmade burger restaurant with a burgundy sign, in an alley between Sinsa Station and Nonhyeon Station~

It had a burgundy sign with a slightly foreign feel!! The sign alone already has so much vibe, haha

Unusually, the seating is on the side of the shop, by the windows, which was a fun layout, haha

It's inside an alley, but plenty of people walk by, so it's an easy place to drop into 👍
How to order at Bas Burger Jamwon Branch, and solo seating
You order at the kiosks by the entrance~

There are two kiosks, so I could order right away with no wait, and there's a service bar guide posted next to them, so even a first-timer won't get lost!!

And that side seating area I mentioned! Go inside and you'll find compact tables and chairs 😊

A checkered tile wall with a yellow neon logo gave it a real American burger joint feel 💛

It's split into 2-person and 4-person tables, which makes it even better for eating alone, haha

Besides the kiosks you can also order at the counter, and a menu board next to it shows burgers, sides and drinks at a glance 👀

Here's what I ordered this time!!
- Bas Burger set (drink swapped to craft beer)
- Chili mozzarella cheese bar
I loved that Bas Burger Jamwon Branch lets you swap the set drink for craft beer 🍺
Is the potato chip service bar at Bas Burger free?
Yes, there's a potato chip service bar on one side of Bas Burger Jamwon Branch, and the chips and 5 sauces are free. It's Bas Burger's biggest feature 😲

This was my first visit to Bas Burger, so little touches like this felt even better 😆

Under warm lighting, baskets are piled with chips, and you can take as much as you'll eat for free!! You can also use 5 sauces for free, so it's nice to pick whatever suits your taste 👍

The chips are thin and crispy, perfect as a beer snack before the burger arrives, haha. I grabbed mayonnaise sauce to dip them in, and it went so well with the salty chips 🤤
How do the Bas Burger set, chili mozzarella cheese bar and lager taste?
The Bas Burger set was a handmade burger with a thick patty and vegetables in a brioche bun, and the chili mozzarella cheese bar had a spicy chili oil flavor that went well with the lager craft beer. Here's my solo meal, finally!!

The tray came loaded with the Bas Burger, fries, chili mozzarella cheese bar, and a cold lager craft beer 😆

The Bas Burger has leafy greens like European vegetables, onion, tomato and cheese along with a thick patty!! The brioche bun was soft and moist, exactly what a handmade burger should feel like 🍔

Ketchup is fine with fries, but I tried mayonnaise~ and I wondered why I'd never known about this combo, it was that good 😋

And the mozzarella cheese bar I kept seeing on social media! I was curious, so I ordered the chili flavor~ One bite and chili oil came soaking out, with a spicy kick 🌶️ The stretchy cheese plus the chili aroma made it a great beer snack too 🍺

And now the real burger mukbang (eating show) 😋 Can you see the cross-section?!

A thick patty with melting cheese and plenty of vegetables, so every bite was full 🤤

From the chips to the burger to the cheese bar, I cleaned it all up with a glass of lager, haha
