Five pork cuts and soybean stew at Euljiro Yeontan, Gajeong BBQ
In short
Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch is a charcoal-fired Korean BBQ restaurant in Luone City, near Gajeong Station in Seohae, Incheon, where pork is ordered by the 100g so you can pick your own cuts. On this second visit the order was five cuts — 200g pork belly, gochujang pork belly, garlic galmaegi, pork jowl and pork skin — plus doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) at 2,500 won, rice and mul naengmyeon (cold noodle soup), with the icy mu-saengchae (radish salad) and the self-bar grilled pineapple as the standouts. Filling food at a fair price, and worth a third visit.

I went to Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch, a place with great value where you can eat all kinds of menus, from meat to seafood! I'd been here once before and loved it, so I was even more excited for my second visit.

So excited to eat a ton at Euljiro Yeontan Gui with its bright lighting,,,

The inside is pretty spacious, and there are a couple of seats that feel like a street tent — but there were customers there so I couldn't get a photo,,, The walls are also packed with menu items.

Ordering by the 100g at Euljiro Yeontan Gui: what we got and what it cost
Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch lets you order meat by the 100g, so I ordered every type I wanted to eat. I love that you can check the menu before going in! And since it's shrimp season, they're also selling salt-grilled jumbo shrimp!

Side dishes, icy radish salad and the self-service bar
They put bean sprouts, kimchi, and garlic on the grill so you can start cooking right away, and serve fresh lettuce salad, kimchi bean sprout soup, and icy mu-saengchae (radish salad)! The drinks also come in a basket full of ice, so everything stays cold ~ but the real kick was the icy mu-saengchae,,, tangy and cold, it went so well with the meat.

There's a separate self-bar too, so if you run low on side dishes you can just grab more! The mu-saengchae isn't at the self-bar, so you have to ask staff separately and they'll bring it (via the kiosk).

300g of pork belly, pork jowl and pineapple on the charcoal grill
First up, the two types of pork belly ✨ 300g total, but it felt like more than I expected!

Pork belly grilled over charcoal — what more is there to say ㅠ Wrapping it up with mu-saengchae, bean sprouts, and garlic is the best. The pork jowl came right after so I threw that on too.

The pork jowl was chewy and full of juices. There was pineapple at the self-bar so I set it on the charcoal too — you know grilled pineapple is delicious, right?

Gochujang pork belly comes with a second grill plate
Time to put on the gochujang pork belly! Since the sauce can burn easily, they give you an extra grill plate, so you can cook it without burning it — hee. The gochujang pork belly sauce is a bit spicy but so good,, perfect with rice.

The doenjang jjigae that came out midway ✨ Spicy and savory, it went so well with the meat, and I'm so glad I ordered it — kept scooping spoonfuls.

Garlic galmaegi and pork skin, then mul naengmyeon to finish
Garlic galmaegi and pork skin make their entrance ✨ The galmaegisal (skirt steak) topped generously with garlic sauce was chewy, and the subtle garlic aroma really brought out the meat's flavor! The pork skin came out in two big pieces — I grabbed the soybean powder from the self-bar for an instant dip, hee. Great chewy texture and full of nuttiness.

Finally, the mul naengmyeon arrives ✨ I devoured the leftover meat together with the cold noodles. The broth is clear but already seasoned, so I was fine not adding extra vinegar or mustard! I ate so much that I actually had to leave one piece of pork skin behind due to being full,,,
Is Euljiro Yeontan Gui good value near Gajeong Station?
Even with five kinds of meat plus stew, noodles, and rice, it was still such great value! Grilling over charcoal makes the meat taste even better, and with everything from meat to seafood to meal menus, plus the fun of ordering by 100g and picking exactly what you want — it's easy to access since it's not far from Gajeong Station too! Certified Gajeong Station meat restaurant 👏🏻👏🏻 Recommending this great-value Luone City meat restaurant, Euljiro Yeontan Gui, after another delicious meal today 🫶🏻
