I visited Think Fruit (띵크프룻) in Hongdae! It's a café famous for making soufflés with seasonal fruit. The fruit on top changes with the time of year, such as strawberry, peach or fig, so you get a different soufflé every time you visit.

This time they had a fig soufflé, so I ordered that. For drinks, I went with a salt cream milk tea and a classic coco. Here comes my review of this famous Hongdae dessert spot!
Where is Think Fruit in Hongdae, and what is the café like?
Think Fruit is a dessert café near Hongik Univ. Station. If you've ever searched for a good soufflé place in Hongdae, you've probably heard of it, thanks to its seasonal fruit soufflés. Inside, it was clean and cozy!

I went with a friend, and it was a nice place to chat over dessert. The atmosphere also seemed fine for a Hongdae date.

Since Think Fruit is known for its seasonal fruit soufflés, it seemed like part of the fun is checking which fruit soufflé is on when you arrive.
What we ordered at Think Fruit

Here's what we ordered at Think Fruit this time. This is what we ate:
- Fig soufflé
- Salt cream milk tea
- Classic coco
What does the fig soufflé at Think Fruit taste like?
The fig soufflé comes generously topped with figs, and the texture was fluffy and soft. The soufflé, the main dish, came out first, and it looked delicious from the start.
Maybe because it's a soufflé made with seasonal fruit, the fruit on top made it look even prettier. I cut into the figs and soufflé together, and the soufflé was fluffy and tender.

It wasn't heavy like an ordinary pancake. It was airy and soft in the mouth. The figs were juicy and sweet, and went well with the fluffy soufflé.

Eating the figs with the soufflé was better than eating the figs alone: sweet and soft at once. The soufflé also came with ice cream on top.

Putting ice cream on the fluffy soufflé added a cold, smooth taste, so it felt like a whole different dish. If you love figs, I think it's worth visiting in season for the fig soufflé :)
A drink that goes with soufflé: salt cream milk tea

Think Fruit's salt cream milk tea is milk tea topped with salt cream, and the salty cream keeps the sweetness from feeling heavy. As the name says, there was salt cream on top of the milk tea. The slightly salty cream added to the sweet milk tea, so it never felt too sweet.

It was a good drink to have alongside a sweet dessert like soufflé. After a bite of fig soufflé, a sip of salt cream milk tea left my mouth feeling fresh. If you're looking for something to drink with the soufflé at Think Fruit, the salt cream milk tea is a decent choice.
Want something sweet? Try the classic coco

Think Fruit's classic coco is a sweet cocoa drink that went well with the soufflé. We ordered that too.

It had a smooth cocoa flavor that matched the dessert well. If you come for the soufflé and like sweet drinks, you might want to order the classic coco too.
Is Think Fruit, a Hongdae soufflé café, worth going back to?

We tried the fig soufflé, the salt cream milk tea and the classic coco at Think Fruit. The most appealing thing is that the soufflé is made with seasonal fruit that changes through the year.

This time I had the fig soufflé, but in other seasons you can try soufflés with other fruit, so I'd look forward to seeing what's on the menu next time.
Fluffy soufflé with seasonal fruit and ice cream made a great dessert. If you're looking for a special dessert in Hongdae or want to try a seasonal fruit soufflé, keep Think Fruit in mind :)
