This is my visit to QooQoo, a sushi spot in Chuncheon, for weekday lunch. Both raw and cooked dishes were on offer in variety, so this all-you-can-eat sushi buffet felt like it could satisfy anyone regardless of taste.
Where is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, and what does it look like inside?
I parked in the basement level 2 lot of the CGV building and headed into the store on B1. It was already almost fully booked, and one thing that stood out was how many tables of 5 to 10 people there were — family gatherings, friend meetups. This place really seems to be a go-to for group get-togethers.
Even though the place is fairly large, the seating was laid out well, so getting back and forth to grab buffet food was never really a hassle.
It was odd that with so many family tables around, no kids were running through the restaurant — turns out there's a playroom here, and a decently spacious one at that. This seems like a great sushi buffet to bring kids to.
How much is weekday lunch? 22,900 won at QooQoo Chuncheon

What's on the buffet? More cooked dishes than raw fish
At QooQoo Chuncheon you'll find the usual default menu items, but there were also quite a few seasonal special dishes. I don't think you'd get bored even coming back again and again.
I'm not a fan of raw food, so I don't eat sushi that often, but even though this is a seafood buffet, a sushi buffet, it was loaded with grilled, fried and stir-fried dishes too, so I got to fully enjoy the blessing of all-you-can-eat.
The staff must have sharp eyes and quick hands, because every single buffet dish was kept perfectly topped up, never empty or running low.
What matters most to a pig is the flow, you know?? Deep thanks to the QooQoo Chuncheon staff for keeping the wave of food coming without a break...
Beer and soju are also sold, ₩5,000 a bottle.
There was so much food I couldn't decide what to eat first, so I just grabbed whatever caught my eye. The jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) was so good haha.
True to a sushi buffet, the neta (sushi toppings) were super varied too. The rice portions on each piece are on the smaller side, so you can pile on a huge variety without your stomach exploding — the best feature of the whole place.
There was also a generous selection of meat dishes. To all the VIP members of our meat-lovers club who insist fish doesn't count as meat — no worries, you can come here freely, animal protein is everywhere.
The fried peppers were delicious too. They're seriously huge, and I ate two of them.

Given how terrifying prices are these days, getting this lavish an all-you-can-eat spread for ₩22,900 is about as commendable as it gets. Big round of applause.
The dessert bar at QooQoo Chuncheon rivals a café
The dessert section was seriously impressive too — cookies, cake, coffee, slushes, bead ice cream, soft-serve, juice, waffles, all kinds of fruit, and more, a lineup that rivals a proper café.
Being able to handle everything from a full meal to dessert in one go made QooQoo Chuncheon Branch feel even more reasonably priced.
Ugh, I'm so full.
Verdict: why QooQoo Chuncheon fills up even at weekday lunch
It's no wonder QooQoo Chuncheon Branch gets picked as a gathering spot. The price is nice, the menu is varied, the food tastes good, and on top of that it's all-you-can-eat — there's no reason for anyone, of any age, not to like it.
It even has a playroom, so it's a good restaurant to bring young kids to. I could see exactly why it was nearly full even at weekday lunch.
The friendly staff cleared tables promptly too, which made the meal even more satisfying at this all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Chuncheon. Go visit before the ₩2,000 discount event ends. The end.
