Sillim Station pizza with 150g extra cheese: egg corn half, Pug Pizza

A big new pizza place opened near Sillim Station a while ago, and I was curious every time I walked past haha. I finally went~! It's Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch 🍕

Where is Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch, and where can you park?

Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch is at 363 Sillim-ro, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, about a 4-minute walk from Sillim Station Exit 6. It's open 11:40 – 22:00, with a discount on takeout and dogs welcome.

The whole 3-story building is one pizza restaurant, so it stands out even from far away 👀

There's no parking in front of the shop, so you'll need to use the paid Sillim-dong Byeolbitgeori Public Parking Lot No. 3 🚗

There's a menu board in front of the entrance, so if there's a wait you can pick your order in advance~! I visited at 2 pm on a Sunday and got in right away with no wait.

Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch seating and atmosphere by floor

Floors 1 and 2 are regular seating, and floor 3 is a pet-friendly zone. The 1st floor had wood-tone decor with a retro yet hip vibe.

Right as you walk in, there's a kiosk and a notice board on the left.

Dine-in orders go through table ordering, and takeout orders go through the kiosk. Takeout orders get a discount, so keep that in mind!! (The amount differs by size.)

Why the 2nd-floor window seats are the best

Upstairs on the 2nd floor was a spacious, comfortable space ☀️ It felt wide open. The tables are spaced far apart, which makes it good for talking, so it'd work for a family meal, a get-together with friends, or a date~!! If you sit by the window you can even get a bit of a street view(?), so personally the 2nd floor looked better to me than the 1st.

The dog-friendly pet zone on the 3rd floor

The 3rd floor is a pet zone where animals are allowed! Not many places allow dogs these days, so this is totally perfect for pet owners 🐶 The pet zone has its own rules and a break time, so keep that in mind~!

How many dipping sauces are at the self-serve station?

Everything at Pug Pizza House is self-serve, so there's a self-serve zone, and there are 4 dipping sauces: ranch, garlic dip, chipotle and truffle mayo. Besides water, small plates, forks and knives, you can help yourself to pickles, hot sauce and dipping sauces 🍽️

I was curious about all four flavors, so I brought a little of each haha

Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch has good-value set menus, and there are single-person sets too, so it's good for eating alone!!

There were quite a lot of pizza types and they all looked so good,, I'll have to come back several times haha

There was even a dough sandwich menu, which was interesting, plus spaghetti, which pizza can't do without! There were also plenty of other sides~!

If you join the Naver receipt review event, they give you either butter garlic potatoes or a glass of Budweiser draft beer for free, so keep that in mind~~~ 🍺

Our order: the half-and-half pizza + cheese spaghetti set

This time I ordered Pug Pizza House's half-and-half pizza + cheese spaghetti set, with the pizza in XR size (2–3 people) and 150g of extra cheese.

The pizza and pasta arrived looking explosive.. 🤤 I wanted both pizza and pasta, so I got the good-value set haha The set also includes a mini salad and one drink, so it made for a really hearty spread~~ 🐽🐽

Bagel dough and 150g of extra cheese

I heard Pug Pizza House's dough is made from glutinous rice and bagel ingredients through a bagel-dough process, so I was even more excited!! 🥯 I usually love bagels, so I wondered how chewy it would be~~

And when I added extra cheese, the amount of cheese was seriously enormous!!!!! Can you see the cheese stretching.... As a total cheese nerd, I loved it so so much 😻😻

What does the Sweet Egg Corn pizza taste like?

The Sweet Egg Corn pizza was sweet yet salty, the kind of taste anyone would like, with no divided opinions.

The dough is topped with scrambled eggs, bacon and pops of whole corn kernels, with a sweet corn butter sauce on top, so it tastes sweet yet salty ✨

What does the mentaiko flame-grilled beef brisket pizza taste like?

The mentaiko grilled beef pizza (spicy pollock roe with beef brisket) combines whole mentaiko, flame-grilled beef brisket, perilla leaves and mentaiko mayo sauce, and it was savory and salty.

The flavors of the mentaiko and the beef went well together. Finely chopped jalapeños add a bit of spiciness too, so it wasn't greasy and tasted great 🌶️

What does the rosé bacon cheese spaghetti taste like?

The rosé bacon cheese spaghetti has bacon, corn and spaghetti noodles in a tomato-based rosé sauce, with plenty of cheese on top. It tasted like the classic spaghetti you get at a pizza place! Pizza + cheese spaghetti, need I say more~~ 🍝

Why extra cheese beats a cheese crust

The dough at Pug Pizza House is really chewy! yet soft, and I normally don't eat the pizza crust ends, but I finished all of this one haha.. And with the extra cheese I couldn't tell whether I was eating cheese or dough, so I finished it all lol Personally, if you like cheese, I recommend extra cheese over a cheese crust 👍🏻

Which pizza size is right for two people?

After finishing it all I was really, really full. It felt like a total blood sugar spike.. 💤 For two people, I think an XR pizza, or an M pizza with one side, would be just the right amount~!!
