Hangsangcharim Kodari Myeongga Ruwon City Branch is a pollock and kodari (half-dried pollock) restaurant that opened in September on Bongoje 3-ro in Ruwon City, Seohae, Incheon. After a movie, the writer brought her parents for the weekday lunch special at the basic spice level, and a staff member deboned the braised kodari piece by piece at the table while banchan (side dishes) refilled freely at the self-serve bar. With a parking tower connected straight to the restaurant and private seating, Hangsangcharim Kodari Myeongga is an easy choice for a Korean meal out with parents.

Aewol noodle restaurant: 1pm waitlist, end window seat at Handam Guksu

Handam Guksu Gwakji Aewol Branch is a pork noodle restaurant near the Aewol café street in Jeju. Arriving after 1pm meant taking a ticket from the waiting machine, then sitting at the very last window seat with dongchimi bibim noodles in icy radish water kimchi broth and a rich beef bone broth pork noodle soup. Five minutes on foot from Handam Coastal Trail Parking Lot with 1 hour of parking covered, Handam Guksu is an easy stop while sightseeing around Aewol.
