Outdoor tables and indoor atmosphere at People & Peoples

People & Peoples has outdoor tables outside, which made it a nice place to visit on a cool day.

Maybe because the weather was good, there were quite a few guests outside even though I came late on a weekday night! The patio was great for enjoying a Sangdong, Bucheon yajang vibe. On a nice day it feels just right for pizza and beer outside, and a lot of people seemed to come for exactly that.

Inside was cozy overall, and I came in with high expectations for a Sangdong, Bucheon restaurant.

There's also a big screen inside. They said they show Champions League and other soccer matches.

It seems like it would be fun to come with friends who love soccer. There are lots of tables with plenty of space between them, so it's also a comfortable choice if you're looking for a Sangdong date spot.

What two people ordered

Two of us visited and ordered the gambas al ajillo and the half-and-half ham cheese pizza. Besides the gambas and pizza, I heard the lasagna is popular enough to make their top 3, so keep that in mind!

Gambas al ajillo: whole garlic cloves, no holding back

The gambas al ajillo at People & Peoples was the most memorable dish of the day. I was shocked at the amount of garlic the moment it arrived. It really was packed in without holding back. The shrimp were plump and the seasoning was just right.

Honestly, before we'd even finished, we were already saying "Should we order more bread?" haha. It was that good...

I get why people talk about Bucheon's gambas spots. If you're hunting for a good restaurant in Sangdong, Bucheon, I hope you'll try the gambas.

They said they develop every menu item themselves, and you can feel the care in the food.

The garlic isn't thin either; it comes in thick pieces, which I personally liked even more. A true Korean who loves whole garlic^^..

The half-and-half ham cheese pizza at People & Peoples is made with pastry dough rather than regular pizza dough.

Crispy and soft at the same time. Anyone looking for pizza in Sangdong, this is the place, right here!!

It was handmade pizza where you feel the care in every bite. It was loaded with toppings and generous with cheese. The salsa criolla sauce the owner makes himself was unusual too, and it stuck with me!

Its sharp, slightly spicy kick cut the richness of the pizza and went really well with it.

Overall the cheese stretched nicely and the crispy texture was great, so I recommend it as a pizza spot in Sangdong〰️

Both the gambas and the pizza went really well with beer. I recommend it for anyone planning pizza and beer in Sangdong.

How was the service from the People & Peoples owners?

The food was good, but the two owners of People & Peoples were also really kind. They explained the food in detail. They said their goal is "whatever anju (food to go with drinks) you order, it's delicious," and I'd say they've already achieved it!!
