Suwon Station specialty café for low-acid coffee and croffle: Tteum

I was looking for a quiet, comfortable café near Suwon Station where I could rest, and I found a croffle (croissant waffle) hotspot: Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station (띰 카페 바이 원플레이 수원역점, Theme CAFE).

Where is Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station, and where do you park?

Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station is on the first floor of the Fraunt officetel building, near Lotte Department Store Timevillas. You can use the building's underground parking, which was convenient, and 1 hour of free parking is supported.

The café has a modern, stylish interior, a nice place to stay quietly in the busy area around Suwon Station 😊 There is also a Lady Furniture showroom in the same space, so it's a handy stop if you come to shop for furniture.

What coffee and drinks does Tteum Café have?

Tteum is a specialty brewing coffee shop, so you can taste properly good coffee. There are lots of premium options, from fruity beans to decaf, wild civet (luwak) and Geisha. I totally recommend it for coffee lovers 👍👍

Besides brewed coffee, there are plenty of non-coffee menu items like lattes, hot chocolate, ades and milk, so it's easy to visit with kids too.

Smelling the beans and picking your own cup

Tteum has testers so you can smell the various beans yourself and choose to your taste. Each bean has its own aroma and charm, which was fascinating, and finding the coffee that suits you is half the fun :D

After choosing the beans, you can pick your coffee cup too. The owner has seriously great taste 👍 You can customize a pretty cup to match your mood and taste for the day and enjoy your own coffee, so I think it would work well as a date course.

Homemade cakes at Tteum Café

For dessert, Tteum has homemade cakes that the owner reportedly makes one by one, full of care.

The cakes that go well with coffee look classy and so pretty 👏👏 There's a nice variety: tiramisu, Jeju Udo peanut, Earl Grey cheese, black sesame, Valrhona dark chocolate and more.

There are also newly launched items: croffle, madeleine and financier. For a dessert with my coffee, I picked the new croffle!

How does the new ice cream croffle taste?

Tteum's ice cream croffle is a new item: a freshly baked, warm and crispy croffle topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sweet syrup. I was excited because it's new, and texture matters for a croffle. The croffle's signature layers were well preserved and it was so, so delicious :D Add the syrup and there's no way it could taste bad! Croffle hotspot confirmed 👍👍

Milano beans for anyone who likes coffee without sourness

I like beans without acidity, so at Tteum I chose the Milano beans with a dark chocolate and caramel base. It was heavy and rich in aroma, exactly my taste. They also served the coffee with an ice cup and the shots separately, so I could pour a little at a time. That let me drink it cold and strong to the very end, totally satisfied 😀

Beyond the atmosphere, getting a delicious croffle and finding coffee that fit my taste made this café even more satisfying. If you want proper specialty coffee and a croffle near Suwon Station, I recommend visiting Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station at least once.
