We visited Songnim Bok Jangeo for a friend's birthday, and it's a great-value all-you-can-eat eel place at ₩32,900 per adult.
We wanted to treat our friend to a hearty dinner for the birthday. Eel sounded perfect for a bit of body-boosting, so I searched around and ended up at the well-reviewed all-you-can-eat eel restaurant in Wolpi-dong, Songnim Bok Jangeo Wolpi Branch (송림복장어 안산월피점).

Where is Songnim Bok Jangeo in Wolpi-dong, and is parking easy?
The Wolpi Branch sits right on the main road with a big sign, so it's easy to spot. There's plenty of parking beside the restaurant, which makes driving there easy.
One of my friends doesn't drink, so I drove this time. I'm not the best at parking and was a little worried, but luckily there's lots of room beside the restaurant and it was easy. I think drivers can use this place without any stress.
Inside Songnim Bok Jangeo: atmosphere and ventilation
The inside was spacious and pleasant. The tables are spaced generously, so it looked good for family gatherings, company dinners and group get-togethers.
Overall it felt clean and well kept ✨
Korean BBQ places are usually smoky, but this one has big open windows at the front and a really good ventilation system, so smoke never bothered us during the meal.

How was the eel at Songnim Bok Jangeo?
The eel had no fishy smell at all and was nice and plump. I didn't expect much from an all-you-can-eat place, but grilled until crisp it was crispy outside and tender inside, and really delicious.
When we sat down, they brought us bokbunja (Korean black raspberry wine). I don't know if it was some kind of event, but I was so happy about it, haha.
The table is clean, the grill is clean, the side dishes are clean!
To start, one plate of eel and meat comes out as standard.
You can tell the quality of the meat is good at a glance, right? And the eel is so plump!

I hadn't expected much from an all-you-can-eat place, but the eel had no fishy smell at all and was plump and really delicious.
Grill it golden and crisp, and one bite gives you that crispy-outside, soft-inside texture. It's mild and nutty on its own, and with sauce or vegetables you just keep eating without getting tired of it.

Grilling chicken neck and pork belly in between the eel was fun too.
When the meat runs out, you can go to the self-service corner and take as much as you want without feeling awkward! The quality is so good it's hard to believe it's all-you-can-eat, and even though I'm a small eater I ate quite a lot. So full.
Is Songnim Bok Jangeo OK for a birthday gathering?
The staff at the Wolpi Branch checked on the meat from time to time and even kept our birthday cake in the fridge. It was a satisfying place for a friend's birthday.
The staff checked on our meat now and then and looked after us carefully the whole time. They were all wearing hygiene gloves, and I thought this place really cares about cleanliness.
Happy birthday, my friend~ 💛 We had brought a cake and left it off to one side, and a staff member noticed it and offered to keep it in the fridge for us. I was so touched...
