Today I'm bringing a story from a while back — a delicious lunch I had in Yangsan.🤎 Before heading to Yangsan Traders that day, I thought, let's eat something good for lunch first! And after searching around, this is the place I found. 🍝

I'd been craving pasta and risotto for a while, and searching around led me to Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch (부엌간레스토랑 양산오슬로파크점) ✨ It's inside Oslo Park, so parking was easy, and it was also convenient to head to Traders afterward 🚗 Let me introduce the dishes I had that day one by one 🤍

Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is on the basement floor of Oslo Park, so you can use the Oslo Park parking lot. I arrived at Oslo Park and made my way to the restaurant.

There are several shops sharing the building, so it was nice to look around before and after the meal, and parking and getting around was easy too 🌿

From the entrance, the place already had a clean but warm atmosphere. It's not an intimidating vibe at all, so it seemed like a great spot for a lunch visit 😊 I took a photo at the entrance before heading in 📸

Once I stepped inside Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch, the space was bigger than I expected. The arched spaces combined with the wood-tone interior gave off a warm overall feeling ✨ It seemed like a great spot for brunch with a friend or a date.

I sat down and looked over the menu slowly. Since it was before heading to Yangsan Traders, I debated whether to eat something filling, and ended up deciding to share several dishes 🍽️ In total, I ordered three menu items.

• 🍝 Basil pesto cream pasta
• 🍚 Abalone cream risotto

As the dishes came out one by one, the table filled up quickly 🤍 All three dishes looked totally different, so it was fun taking photos too 📸 Let me start with the salad.

Bueokgan's napa cabbage Caesar salad is 16,000 won, and it was a dish I was curious about the moment I saw it. Having napa cabbage in a Caesar salad felt a bit different from the salads I usually eat. The napa cabbage was lightly grilled, giving off a subtle sweetness that paired well with the Caesar dressing.

Bacon chips and cheese toppings gave it a variety of textures. I expected a salad to be light, but it was more filling than I thought, making it a great pairing with the pasta 🥗 Personally, this ended up being an unexpectedly memorable dish from the day 🤍 And next up, the pasta!

Basil pesto cream pasta with a poached egg, 18,000 won

The basil pesto cream pasta is 18,000 won, and it was the dish I was most looking forward to. The fragrant flavor of basil pesto blended with the smooth cream sauce, and it looked delicious just from the sight of it ✨ Having a poached egg on top made me even more excited.

I popped the poached egg and mixed it well into the noodles and sauce. The yolk blended with the cream sauce, making it even smoother and nuttier 🤍 The basil aroma wasn't overpowering either, so anyone who likes cream pasta would probably enjoy this. Out of the three dishes, this was my favorite 🍝

I coated the noodles thoroughly in the sauce and took a bite — smooth and savory flavors came through clearly. The combination of poached egg, cream, and basil pesto really worked well together ✨ It's a dish I'd want to order again on a future visit. And the last dish was the abalone cream risotto.

Abalone cream risotto, 20,000 won

The abalone cream risotto is 20,000 won, and having abalone in the risotto made me curious the moment I saw it on the menu. Apparently the risotto combines abalone innard sauce with cream, along with abalone and clam meat, topped with crispy fried enoki mushrooms. The soft risotto had abalone flavor woven through it, giving it a savory yet rich taste.

The crispy fried enoki mushrooms on top were especially the highlight ✨ Getting that crunchy texture amid the smooth risotto made it even more enjoyable to eat. With the abalone added in, it made for a satisfying, filling meal 🤍

Eating all three dishes together was even better because each had such a different flavor. The napa cabbage Caesar salad was fresh and savory, the basil pesto cream pasta was smooth and fragrant, and the abalone cream risotto was rich and nutty 🍽️ I felt like ordering multiple dishes was the right call.

Was Bueokgan a good lunch before Yangsan Traders?

🤍 A place I'd want to visit again. This time I visited Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch for lunch before heading to Yangsan Traders, and I came away more satisfied than I expected. If you're looking for a good Western-food spot in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, this is worth checking out.

Being located inside Oslo Park made parking and getting around convenient, and the relaxed atmosphere made it good for a meal with a friend or a date too. If you're looking for a nice-vibed place near Yangsan Busan University Hospital, this could be worth keeping in mind too 😊

With pasta and risotto you can enjoy at a leisurely pace, it also felt like a good fit for a brunch café-style visit. If you're looking for a lunch spot near Namyangsan Station, it's worth checking out the Oslo Park area as well. And if, like me, you want a good lunch before heading to Yangsan Traders, this is worth saving as a meal spot 🛒🤍 Eating a filling lunch and then going grocery shopping made for a perfect day's plan.
