Cleansing balm for dehydrated oily skin: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal

Why did I choose this cleansing balm for combination-oily yet dehydrated skin?

I have typical combination-oily yet dehydrated skin, so I choose cleansing products carefully as well as skincare. I have used various products including oils, foams, and tissues, but some felt quite irritating, while gentler products sometimes seemed lacking in removing impurities.

I tried the HEEDA cleansing balm because it uses Jirisan genuine charcoal and was described as offering both a gentle feel and cleansing performance.

How did the texture and scent feel?

Even when scooped out with a spatula, the texture felt like a very fine, soft sorbet. Rather than sticky, it was closer to melting smoothly over the skin.

The scent felt like a subtle, soft charcoal scent, but it was barely noticeable. After applying it to my face and rubbing a few times, it felt soft and moisturizing.

How was cleansing point makeup and around the nose?

I gently wiped away point makeup such as lipstick and eyebrow makeup, then rolled it mainly over delicate areas such as beside my nose, where I worry about blackheads, and under my eyes. When I used it, I could cleanse comfortably without any stinging or irritating feeling.

Compared with using a foam cleanser and oil together, I found it convenient to streamline my cleansing routine with this one sorbet-textured cleansing balm.

Did moisture remain after cleansing?

After rolling it over my face and cleansing, my face retained a moisturized feeling. I usually apply skincare immediately after cleansing, but after using this product, I felt I had a little more time.
