Beomgye steak spot, school-break lunch with my son: Two Find Peter
In short
Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is a pasta and steak restaurant on the 5th floor of Park Avenue L near Beomgye Station in Anyang, Gyeonggi. On a school-break lunch, the writer and their son shared a chuck flap steak (salchi steak), seared golden outside and juicy inside, and a brothy vongole packed with clams. Even on a repeat visit, Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch lived up to expectations and is the go-to pick for a meal in Beomgye.

It's school break, so my son and I headed out to Beomgye for lunch. I thought hard about what to eat and remembered Two Find Peter, a place I'd visited with a friend before. I had such a good meal there that time, so this time I went back with my son.
Last time I ordered different dishes, but this time I decided to try the chalsal steak (chuck flap steak) and vongole. It's rare for a place to still feel exciting on a repeat visit, but once again I left satisfied, so here's my review.
Location and hours of Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch
Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is on the 5th floor of Park Avenue L, 15 Pyeongchon-daero 217beon-gil, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's open daily 11:30–21:30, with a break time of 15:00–17:00 (no break time on weekends and holidays). They also offer group dining, takeout, delivery, and reservations.

It was close to Beomgye Station and easy to find—just go up to the 5th floor of the building and it's right there. Clean from the entrance, which put me in a good mood before even walking in.

What was the atmosphere like?
Inside, the place was bigger than I expected and didn't feel cramped at all. The tables were spaced generously so I didn't have to worry about neighboring conversations, and the lighting was soft, making it comfortable to eat.

It seemed like a popular spot for dates, but also felt easy and relaxed for family meals. It was perfect for chatting slowly with my son over lunch.

Bread and pickles
Once we sat down, warm bread came out first. Dipped in olive oil, it tasted even nuttier, and it was nice to nibble on while waiting for the meal.

The pickles that came with it were crunchy too, and eating them in between cleansed my palate nicely.

Chalsal steak—eating it with just salt was the best
This time we ordered chalsal steak and vongole. My son loves meat so he really wanted steak, and I wanted a pasta with a cool broth, so I chose vongole.

The chalsal steak arrived first and the doneness was exactly what I love. Golden brown outside, juicy inside—every bite had the juices still alive.

When I cut into it for photos, the cross-section color was so pretty I kept snapping pictures. It wasn't just nice to look at—the texture was tender too, and my son kept saying it was delicious.
A little wasabi on top went really well with it, and with whole grain mustard it had a whole different charm. But dipping it just in salt let the flavor of the meat really come through—that was my favorite way to eat it.

Vongole, generous with clams
The vongole was beyond my expectations too.

It was packed with clams and had a light broth that soaked well into the noodles. The garlic aroma rose gently, with a slight spicy kick added, and I enjoyed it to the very last bite.
The noodles held their texture without going mushy, and eating them with the clams brought out even more umami. Dipping the leftover bread into the remaining broth worked really well too.

My son, who was busy with his steak, took a bite of my vongole too and said it was good, then kept eating it with me. I was glad we ordered two dishes to share.

Revisit review
During the meal, we didn't wait long for the food, and the staff were kind, so we could eat comfortably.
It was great when I came before too, but this time was even more memorable since I came with my son. Next time I want to try the pizza or gnocchi too.

If you're looking for a Beomgye pasta spot where you can also enjoy steak, Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is worth a visit. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food was satisfying, so I felt once again why I came back. If I ever need to eat in Beomgye, I'll probably be back again ❤️
