Nonhyeon Station lounge bar for pear and peach highballs: Mixed Table

In short

Mixed Table is a basement lounge bar in the food alley between Nonhyeon Station and Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam, Seoul. After dinner, the writer stopped by Mixed Table for a second round and ordered the pear highball Sparkling Pear (13,000 won), the peach-orange highball Sweety Peach (14,000 won) and Kaymak & Melon (19,000 won). Both highballs were sweet and the fruit plate suited a full stomach. With hip lighting and music, Mixed Table is a good second stop for a date or blind date.

Today I'm recommending a bar near Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam. After a big meal, it's always a dilemma where to go for the second round, right? Right by Nonhyeon Station there's a place with a hip, good-vibes atmosphere and snacks that are just the right size, so I went straight in. I'd also recommend it for dates and blind dates!! Here's my honest review of Mixed Table.

Hip vibes already everywhere ..🫪 The restroom is right at the entrance too, and it was clean and nice.

What's the inside of Mixed Table like?

Lighting and seating inside Mixed Table

Inside Mixed Table there are tons of tables, and the interior, lighting and music were all hip. A pretty, friendly staff member shows you in ✨ She looked like she might be a foreigner, but her Korean was super fluent and she was really, really kind..

With so many tables, it's honestly great for booking a party or a group gathering too!! The interior, lighting and music were all hip 🥺

Mixed Table menu list of highballs and cocktails

The food at Mixed Table runs from meal-type dishes to light snacks, like pizza, fries, jamón, cheese and kaymak melon, and the drinks are varied: highballs, cocktails, wine, whisky and more. As soon as we sat down, they brought the menu and some complimentary snacks.

Being a second-round bar, there were definitely lots of light things! There were also plenty of non-alcoholic options for the lightweights among us. We'd already eaten, so the two of us ordered like this!

  • Kaymak & Melon ₩19,000
  • Sparkling Pear ₩13,000
  • Sweety Peach ₩14,000

How do the fruit highballs Sparkling Pear and Sweety Peach taste?

Two highballs, Sparkling Pear and Sweety Peach

Of Mixed Table's highballs, Sparkling Pear is a lime-colored pear highball and Sweety Peach is a pink peach-orange highball, and both were sweet and really good. The highballs came out first. There were so many kinds that it was hard to choose, so we just went by the descriptions and the prettiest names, haha.

  • Sparkling Pear 🍐: a pear highball that was clean and refreshing
  • Sweety Peach 🍑: it was supposed to taste of peach and orange, and it was so good,,

How was Mixed Table's Kaymak & Melon as a second-round snack?

The Kaymak & Melon (₩19,000) that came out after the highballs was the perfect fruit snack for us after a big meal, haha. And for a kaymak lover like me, it's the best.. ♥

Toasting with two highballs

Cheers! The plating is so pretty, and the highballs have lovely colors too, right?

Plated kaymak and melon served with honey

Dip the prettily plated melon and the kaymak in the middle into plenty of honey and..! Need I say more, the best combo ✨ The melon was really sweet, the kaymak was fresh, and they went so well together. Perfect as a simple second-round snack!!

Is Mixed Table a good second-round spot for dates and blind dates?
