I was looking for a stand to use when watching videos or filming at home, and for propping up my phone at cafés or travel destinations, so I tried the 비티냐 360° Rotating Portable MagSafe Stand.
Does it come with magnetic rings and a tension-adjustment tool?
The set was simple. It included two magnetic rings so it could be attached and used with not only an iPhone but also a Galaxy phone, along with a wrench for adjusting the tension.
Is rotation and switching between landscape and portrait easy?
The rotating part was not stiff and turned smoothly. Since it rotates 360°, I could leave the stand in one spot and simply turn the direction when I moved. I could also switch between landscape and portrait right away with my phone attached, which was convenient for watching videos and filming.
Does it hold a phone securely?
At first, I was worried about whether it would hold my phone securely. Once I used it, though, the phone attached right away when I brought it close, and it did not fall off even when I gave it a shake. I liked that I could just attach it to use it, without having to slot it in separately.
After adjusting the angle to suit my eye level, it did not easily slip out of position. I also liked being able to adjust the tension. The bottom has a non-slip pad, so it did not slide when I used it beside the bed, on a desk, or on a table.
Is it a good size to carry in a bag?
When folded flat, it was small enough to fit into a bag or pouch, and it felt light. When I travel, I usually lean my phone against something nearby to film vlogs, but I thought this stand would be handy to bring along for filming.
What can it be used for besides watching videos?
You can use it for simple YouTube filming, video calls, or as an extra stand on your desk. I liked that its adjustable angle also makes it useful for close-up filming.
The most convenient part while using it was being able to attach my phone simply, then change it to the direction and angle I needed. I was also satisfied with how well it held its angle, and because it folds up for carrying, I felt it would be useful outside the home too.
